Krik?
Sonaa and Timothe Johns are newlyweds
with one thing in mind,
to make a splash in the music industry.
Sonaa was a singer, songwriter
and Timothe was a composer.
You would think these two
had the right ingredients,
to be the singing power couple.
Wrong.
They were very mediocre in their professions
if that were truly their callings.
However, they only cared to score immensely.
What a sorry, ambitious couple to do
in a position like this?
Well, one thing. Strike a deal with the devil.
It is believed that the universe gives
to whom can master their given talent,
but the devil will help you get
whatever your heart desires for a fee.
Were they willing to honor that charge?
Were they aware of the reverberations
to what this oath might entail?
So hungry to be the best in a domain
that was clearly not for them to succeed in,
they sealed the deal with little drops of their blood.
No fine prints to read.
No regular prints for that matter,
just a white matted paper with their names.
They say to make a vow with the devil
is like a prosperous, rich man being
hooked on meth because one day
he has it all and the next,
he does not even own his skin.
You get all the wonderful things this world offers,
but you get to "danse noir"
in the seven circles of Inferno
with Lucifer for all Eternity.
From what they say Lucifer is always recruiting,
he hungers for more followers,
more companions to fill his "dancing" ranks.
So Sonaa and Timothe became
the newest additions,
to Lucifer's list of damned souls.
Undoubtedly in this realm,
they became quite the singing sensation.
They became incredibly famous,
with million copies of their first album
sold double platinum.
Every album after that was a hit,
what more could they have asked for?
All their dreams were becoming real.
Sometimes we dare to dream bigger,
but if we deploy all efforts to realize such reveries,
and we fall flat on our face.
Should we pursue this goal at all costs?
Even if it takes a soul to be happy in this life,
and forever "burn" in the next?
