Deep down Adam feels tired! As if his heart is a play thing! He was totally happy learning Christine had no interest in him, he was happy knowing he is just a friend for her, and going to be one for the rest of the life. That's also was one of the reason why he went out with Elina! Having a little crush on Christine and then being around her all the time felt too much. He did have a bit of feelings for her for sure and becoming totally sure of never having any chance with her was giving him a heart sore but he was also okay knowing may be he will always have some feelings for her! though dating was never really his thing it was the right decision looking for other people, trying to know the unknown one, letting these feelings go and not always playing it safe! Also he is getting a bit old for not taking his love life seriously!
As much as dating was not his thing, so was an arranged marriage. He never had an interest in that area as well. Dating was a much better option!
But now Christine comes to clutter everything, and making him confused! She asked him if he wanted to date her! Who would have expected her to ask such a thing!
Elina is amazing! Together, they have so much potential! May be a soulmate! Who really knows! Is it really worth it, to let go of someone that amazing, who has shown so much actual interest in him, for someone whose heart is not entirety open and may actually never open up to him! At that time, the phone rings!
"Hi mom!" he took the call.
"Hello dear. How are you? Have some important news..."
"But first listen to me, I need your advice on something. Suppose, I liked someone who never liked me or hardly had any idea about my feelings, and now that same person asking me to go out with them all on a sudden because I have started meeting new people and showing less interest to them. "So you are having love problem! A new thing I heard. Well, sounds like this person.....it is a girl, right?"

"You will know better because you are in the situation my dear, but still, she doesn’t seem to be someone totally sure of her own feelings to me."
"I thought so!" Adam murmured to himself.
"So it comes down to you! If you are like, have deep feelings for her then go for it and ask yourself, are you going to regret letting her go and not taking this chance?"
"I don’t know mom! I don’t understand "
"You have to know and understand then! Tell me something, is this girl someone I know? Is it... Is it Christine?"
"How'd you know" Adam utters shockingly.
"Umm...yes, it’s her!"
She laughs gently on the phone.
"How do moms know everything?" he asked almost like a whisper.
"I actually don’t dear. We all saw in your cousin's wedding, how you always stared at her and treated her with such care! Me and your dad actually thought that may be you two were a thing! You for sure had felt something for her! I had no doubt about that one!"
"Umm....well....umm... She looked so pretty that day. Anyone would stare at her! Do you blame me?"
"Someone in love will do that for sure!"
"Mom! I don’t love her. I do like her and as a friend care tons for her, but my feelings are far, far, far less than that! It’s just a little crush!"
"If you are not. Then it’s a good news! But be careful. We thought to ask you about this but you don’t talk to me about this things so I didn’t."
"Because, I never dealt with this kind of problems before!" he replies with frustration."
"My advice is take good care of your own heart! And make sure you don’t get hurt if you really do go for her! I always have advised this to all the young people. More to the boys in our family! And I hope you won't settle for less than what your dad and I have!"
