"Finau!" The basalt around Cosmo rose up to form a barrier, one that Cynderad crashed into, crunching the basalt to smithereens. This time, however, its attack did not land, rendering the beast scrambling to its feet as it shook off rubble from the spell. This gave him just enough time to push the pain from his mind and begin his assault.

"Izkra." The incantations came to Cosmo's mind instictually, as though they were actions as simple as breathing or walking. The bolt of lightning flashed from Cosmo's hand, deflected by a wordlessly incantated shield produced by Cynderad. The claymore still clutched in its injured arm glowed with power.

"Nraida." It growled. The oxygen in the room disappeared, consumed by the sheer force of the pyretic explosion that ensued, the swath of flames bursting forth from the gem embedded in the weapon's hilt with the fury of the sun. Cosmo had just enough time to react.

"Adlám!" A spell he had not invoked the power of in some time, a purposeful decision due to his body's reaction to it prior. He recalled how he had unsuccessfully clung to consciousness atop the plateau after redirecting Molniya's lightning. Even still, the blast of flame was pulled within Cosmo, quickly extinguishing itself faster than it had sprung to life.

In the few seconds that he held the spell within him, it was as though he was being burned alive. Every inch of skin, every capillary in his body was a raging fire that needed, that had to be released. Nevertheless, he held the spell within him, kept it contained for as long as he could, before releasing the deadly inferno upon Cynderad, the flames burning a bright teal as they scorched everything in sight. The demon had time to react, but was not capable of effectively dodging such as wide-scale attack. From the waist down, Cynderad was consumed by the flames as it tried to avoid their rampant destruction.

What had once been the Lord of Felywn cried out, a terrifying, monstrous noise, as it writhed on the ground in pain. It grew louder, thrashing about furiously against the basalt as its blood oozed from its wounds onto the ground, the viscous, crimson substance forming a puddle below it. Cosmo, after heaving for air, the dull pain in his chest growing stronger, approached the horror on the ground, a mixture of disgust and hatred in his expression.

"You will not triumph." The empty, hollow puddles of void which were its eyes filled with malice. It thrashed about on the ground, seething with rage as it attempted to get up. It was clear that Cosmo's attack had paralyzed the creature, at least from its waist and downwards.

Cosmo ignored the beast's words, instead walking towards the fountain, which still held the blue and red Divine Prisms. He grasped the latter, ignoring the smell of loose dust and high mountaintops, the bold scent of volcanic ash and the taste of moisture in the air as a rainless thunderstorm reigned over a desert. His mind was sharp with adrenaline, and Cosmo felt the power of the crystal seep into his hand.

"You are wrong." Cosmo spoke, determination in his tone as he lifted Dragon's Focus, which laid in his other hand, toward's Cynderad's deformed visage. "It shall be you that faces their downfall today." The Divine Prism shined a brilliant vermillion. "Now pray to whatever god that devils worship."

Izkra. The thought resonated in Cosmo's mind, the lightning surging from his gauntlet with every ounce of strength within him.

The world froze in time for a moment, the fork of magical electricity hovering in the air, beginning its trajectory towards Cynderad's ruined form on the ground. Cosmo's exhaustion was immense, smothering. The descent to the bottom of the Pillar had been taxing, but nothing compared to the cost of this final spell which he forced from his being, every part of his mind and body worn down from the innumerable amount of magic he had channeled through his body during this final fight. For a moment, he lingered on the edge of consciousness.
