Hello again! Today I am going to promote Geeke, a reading and writing platform like no other! Help me expand the community!
What is Geeke?
Geeke is, like I explained, a reading and writing online platform. It was created by hridiv, author of Outlaw Teens who has coding as a hobby. He also wrote Wattpad Memes and Wattpad Memes 2.0 which are so hilariously funny and relatable, go check it out on his profile sometime
In the two meme books, he expresses his opinions about Wattpad as a 5+ year user, so he had to watch Activity Feed (a feature where one's followers get notified about a vote on a book) get removed and Paid Stories get added, and at the end of Book 2, he explains Geeke's features.
Okay, what are the features?
Well, they are very impressive, to be frank. There are Clubs, similar to communities but books can be added, Group Reading Session, where users can read a book together w/ chat, Spotify Music (I'm not kidding right now, it's SUPER cool, you don't even have to leave Geeke!), and Daily Tasks (writing streaks, search for hidden objects, publish a chapter, etc). You can use the coins you earned (don't worry, every book is FREE) to purchase Library Skins (a background for your library such as snow, a map, starry night) or Animated Themes (text design such as glowing rainbow text, glitchy game-like, or neon).
As of 4 June 2022, Geeke is currently in Beta, so do expect lagging pages or books unable to load, etc, it is still in development. However, there are ZERO ads and OFFLINE reading, so that is pleasant :)
