I wanted to ask her out but I really didn't have the guts to do so. Was I too straightforward and obvious that I like her a lot by now ? She doesn't seem to take it well. Her eyes seemed... Sad...

She was spaced out while stirring onto her coffee. I wonder what's on her mind....

"Sophia, are you okay ?" I asked as she then snapped out of it

"Y-yes sir ?" she responded, stuttering

"I asked if you're okay" I repeated myself

"Yes yes ! I'm totally fine !" she responded

She seemed to be out of focus

"You know, I'd love to date you for real..." I uttered

She turned her head towards me immediately as I covered my mouth. This is why, having a habit of saying things out loud can be a damn problem. Because of this.

"What did you say ?" she asked

My face heated up IMMEDIATELY.

"I-I-- U-u-uhhhh--" I was pretty much being a mess

It was then she bursted out laughing. Which embarasses me even more

"I thought I was the only one that was being a whole mess, but guess that the all serious head of the agency Mr Hong becomes more of a mess than me" said Sophia in between her laughs

"That's not funny Sophia ! Don't bring up my position like that !" I frowned

"But yeah sure. I'll date you" said Sophia

"Really ?" I asked in disbelief

"Well... Yeah. I've taken a liking into you too so maybe we could take another step forward" she grinned

I felt like my heart was being shot by an arrow. No matter how many dates we've been on, I've never seen her smile like this

"You're so pretty,,,," I uttered which caused me to cover my mouth yet again, embarassing of course

"Thank you, but we all know that the good looking one here is YOU sir" she responded with a smile

I'm definitely red right now aren't I ? I'm weak against her at this point. God, thank you for making all of these happening. I promise to take care of her
