As another day of school passed, ben looked outside wanting to be out there, helping people but instead he was stuck having to read a book that had been outdated for 200 years and having to dig deep into it. he looked at his omnitrix longingly, now knowing the code for greymatter but unable to use it. as his hand slipped down to turn the faceplate, Gwen slapped it from her seat as she was just across from him. He turned back to try and catch rex, but rex was focusing on his work as was everybody else. He didn't want to read so he just doodled out some of his new aliens and he tried to think of names. The worst, toe pick, fasttrack, eye guy...
However, he heard an explosion from outside and he got up to try and run out when he was stopped by the teacher.
English teacher: where do you think you're going MR Tennyson?
Ben: to go and see what that explosion was and to try and save people.
English teacher: I can't let you do that ben, that's what the police officers where for. I'm only allowed to let you if it's an emergency.
Ben: so, you want me to just sit here?
English teacher: unless you can prove they need you, yes.
Ben reluctantly gets back in his seat as Kevin has already arrived with his new fighting partner in lucy, preparing themselves to fight whatever caused that explosion. Kevin turned into crystalfist as they turned the corner and lucy entered her humanoid Lenopan form. They look like some kind of one-armed masked figure faced them down.
Tetrax: I've found you changeling.
Kevin: do I know you?
Tetrax: last time I met you I got you had thrown into the null void before you foolishly let me go.
Lucy: you've been to the null void?
Kevin: no but Tennyson has.
Kevin now yelling: YOU'RE LOOKING FOR TENNYSON AREN'T YOU?
Tetrax: are you telling me there are more changelings?
Lucy: I'm right here you know.
Tetrax: you Lenopans are commonplace, but an actual human who can change their shape. That goes for a lot on the black market.
Kevin: I'm not going to be sold.
Lucy jumps forward to hit tetrax and she finds her mud being ripped apart by his broken off arm
Lucy: you're a Petrosapien?
Kevin: what is a Petrosapien?
Lucy: what you currently are.
Tetrax grabs holds of her and throws her to the side as she splats against the floor before pulling herself up and getting back to her humanoid Lenopan form and she tries charging at him, this time flinging her excess mud at him and sliding under him and back to Kevin.
Kevin: how much of that can you even throw?
He starts shooting off crystals at tetrax, tetrax still just walking forward, shaking all of them off.
Lucy: my mud grows itself back over time. Switch to something with sonic waves.
Kevin: I have just the guy.
He changes to bashmouth as he starts roaring at tetrax who forms a crystal shield and used his crystals to form a wall waiting for Kevin to time out. However, Kevin changes into wreckingbolt to shoot through the crystals before switching to thronblade to grab onto a fleeing tetrax before dragging him in for a quad smack.
Kevin: ready to give up?
Tetrax: for how much you'd go for on the market. Never.
He grabs a hold of quadsmack, and he throws Kevin into the crystal wall, breaking enough of its base for it to collapse. Lucy managing to push some people out of the way as those people immediately run off.
Lucy: why do everybody think I'm an Evo?
She returns to the fight and tries to distract tetrax while Kevin shoots ben a text.
Kevin: got a bounty hunter after me, some crystalfist guy.
Ben: tetrax?
Kevin: yeah, that guy. How do I beat him?
Ben: you have to make yourself not with it to him. Either hurt him enough to get him to leave or ditch the watch.
Kevin: I am not ditching my antitrix.
Ben: then you need to lay on the smack down harsher then with anybody, you think you can do that?
Kevin just responded with a smirking emoji, and he changes into undertow and shoots tetrax back, continuing to shoot him until there both in the desert. Lucy following but noticing that her mud was slightly dryer then it was back in the town.
Lucy: I'm going to dry up if we're out here for to long.
Kevin: then let's make it rain.
He aims his green, slime cannons upwards and floods everything, before returning to tetrax and switching to bashmouth and roaring at tetrax who still had his whole body in his suit.
Lucy: while he's in that suit we can't do anything to him.
Kevin: do you know anything about that suit?
Lucy: nothing more then it's malleable and durable.
Kevin: that really helps.
However, as the fight continues, they spot something off in the distance, rex using his rex ride, Circe and ben who hadn't changed into anything yet.
Kevin: thought Noah and Gwen would be with you.
Ben: do you have any idea what it took to get us out of there?
Tetrax starts shooting at him and ben changes into omni-kix humungousaur. Slamming down his tail as it sent out a shock wave.
Lucy: while he's got that battle suit on, we can't damage him.
Ben: I've got an idea. Stand back.
He opens up his jaw and from it shoots out a giant beam that starts to chip away at tetrax's suit and as ben is able to ship off over a quarter of it, he times out and looks up and smiles. Now scared that he needs to time in. tetrax forms a crystal board and jumps on it, charging forward as Circe extends out her Evo jaw, shattering his crystal board and the crystals that it left behind, tetrax finding himself shattering some as he looks at the group, ben hiding behind rex who had formed his B.F.S and tetrax sighed as he opened up a portal and fled the scene.
Lucy: I can't believe we defeated tetrax sharp.
Ben: his last name is sharp?
Rex: and how did you do that?
Lucy: I didn't think it was him until I saw his crystals on his broken arm.
Circe: I like having her around.
Lucy: I'll probably be leaving soon. I mean we're leaving ben's house tomorrow now that aunt Camille and Uncle Joel have found a house to move into.
Ben: well, that does mean less mud everywhere.
Lucy: well, I've been enjoying all of this. Back home I was the weird one because I like this humanoid form more the normal form for a Lenopan. But that's their problem.
Ben: well, you'll always have a part on this team.
Kevin: I am not on this team. I've said this before.
Circe: well, you keep helping us and we all know why.
Lucy: yeah, why don't you tell her right to her face?
She changes into a form of Gwen and makes smooching noises Kevin pushes her to the floor.
Kevin: is it to late to get a new fighting partner?
Rex: you could always try to convince Bobo.
They all laugh as lucy switches to her human form to help and try to stop her mud from drying out.
