[Taehyung's POV]

I had recently changed school, and today is the first day in my new school.

"Have a nice day at school Tae." Mom waves bye as I waved back.

I wasn't that nervous as I already had a friend in the new school, so it wouldn't be all awkward for me, atleast not for the whole day.

~

At school, Jungkook was outside near the school gate, impatiently waiting for me and when he saw me, he immediately runs up to me, hugging me tightly.

Jeon Jungkook, my childhood bestfriend. We went to the same kindergarten, and changed schools but our friendship florished throught because our mothers are good friends too.

"Welcome to your new school brother! But I'm sorry I can't show you around now, I have practice early morning, and I'm already late. Just go straight in, find any student and ask them about your class, they'll help. I'm sorry again, gotta go." Jungkook hugs me again and storms off to his practice, he plays baseball and from what I've heard from his mom, he plays very good, representing the school and all kinda good.

I sighed. I thought that the first day won't be hard because of Jungkook, but now as he was away, I grew anxious about my surroundings.

Looks like have to do this alone anyway.
I thought to myself.

I stepped inside the compound, and walked straight to the entrance door. Like Jungkook directed me to.

The hall was filled with blabberings and gossips among large groups of students, and the smaller ones were a competition to the bigger ones. But the individuals were quiet and minding their own business. I walk ahead more searching for someone who wasn't already busy with others to not disturb anyone's conversations.

I adjusted my glasses while my eyes wondered and soon found a girl, who was holding some junk which she was picking out from her locker.
I thought of offering help to her, but as I stepped towards her the bell rang and everyone else starts moving towards their classes.

"Let me help you." I offered and took the junk from her hands.

Less people were present, none of them paying attention towards us, which made it easier for me to talk to her.

Her eyes showed hints of surprise when I offered for help.

"New student?" She asks and I nod. I was amazed that she guessed it so easily. "Which class?" She immediately asks and I fidgeted trying to get the piece of paper out from my shirt pocket.

She takes out the paper and scans it, and instantly points towards the class.

"That one." She gestures and took the junk from my hands and leaves me before I could thank her for her help.

I frowned at her manner but I let that go as I was late and head to my classroom before the teacher could. I was just happy that I didn't had to get a scolding from teachers on my first day.
