Pt.2 : Blooming

The Passenger car

Our eyes locked for a brief second today, and for the first time, a smile just for me.

Something you said today, made an unfamiliar warmth spread in my chest but I shrugged it off, high hopes get crushed fast.

I think you are starting to notice me more. I've felt your eyes burn my back the entire day.

Can you believe we had a conversation today? My heart fluttered at every word.
The occasional brush of your hand past mine sent tingles all over my body.

You asked me out today, I was over the moon.
For the first time in many nights, I snuggled in my bed and fell into a blissful slumber whilst recollecting one of the best days I've ever had.

You finally asked me to be yours, I thought you were only going to be a wish I was meant to admire from afar.

My heart has never hammered in my chest so uncontrollably before, the most beautiful words anyone has ever uttered to me fell past your lips.
So many others but you chose me.
