During midnight Arjun stirred in his sleep... Hearing slight noises...opened  eyes... His sleep flew as manik is coughing loudly, "Mannu...!" He touched his forehead took it back immediately as he is also burning up... switched on the lights, n turned off the AC..as he is shivering covered him properly, n called softly "Mannu..!"

Manik slowly opened his eyes, tears welled up as he felt burning sensation inside, called him in hoarse voice "bh.a.iyu..!"

Arjun shook his head, "Nahi..bacha... Don't talk." He said caressing his head n called Abhi who came quickly.

Taking place beside he checked on manik got worried as his temperature was above hundred, "Bhai isse toh 103° fever hai."

Arjun looked down at Manik who is shivering covered him properly caressing his head, they were really worried how he developed fever n cough suddenly, while Manik remained silent not informing he ate icecream without their knowledge.

"Bhai... Mei abi aya...!" Saying Abhi left. Arjun looked at Manik who is staring back at him , asked, "Kya hua mannu? Aise kyu dekh rahe ho?"

"Bhaiyu.... Mujhe Sona hai...!" He grumbled in thick voice, widened his eyes as Abhi came back with syringe in his hand, hugged Arjun tightly, "Bhaiyu...!" He pleaded coughing loudly.

Arjun caressing his back, "Shh...mannu... Calm down.... Kuch nahi hoga ...!" He tried to comfort him but Manik worked himself to panic..... Watching, Abhi kept the syringe aside, "Shh..mannu... Dekh mere haath mei kuch nai... Stop stressing!" He said.

Manik turned his face to look at him, not noticing it in his hands, "aap nahi doge na?" He asked in small tone.

Abhi nodded, making him relax. He cuddled into Arjun, "Mujhe neendh araha!"

Arjun nodded n rocked him caressing his back so he could sleep... They looked on worried as he didn't stop coughing.

As he was drifting into sleep, Abhi gave a nod to Arjun slowly gave the medicine. Feeling sharp pain, Manik cried out. Caressing his back, "Shh...mannu... Hogai...bas...one second...!" Arjun whispered in soothing voice to calm him.

Rubbing the cotton, "Hogai mannu!... I love you bacha!" He whispered pressing a kiss on his head.

Manik cried himself to sleep snored softly after sometime. Gently lowering him in bed, Arjun gave a kiss on his forehead. Abhi brought cold water n strips.. n kept on his forehead.

"Tum jao Abhi... Mei karleta...!" Arjun said but Abhi shook his head, "Aap bahut takh gaye bhai..... So jayiye... Mei dyaan rakta hu!" He insisted as his brother is getting hardly any rest, due to office n marriage works.

Arjun nodded n laid beside Manik placing a arm around him. Abhi changed the cold strips all night taking care of Manik.

Arjun opened his eyes as usual, got up checking Manik the first thing, looked up at Abhi who is sleeping in sitting position shook him slightly, "Abhi...!"

Abhi slowly opened his eyes, "bhai..!"

"Mannu kaisa hai Abhi?"

Looking at him, "Ab theek hai! Bhukar Kam hua!" He replied in tired tone.

Arjun nodded, "So jao... Abhi. Bahut takh gaye tum! Mei baad mei uta deta hu!" He stated caressing his head.

Abhi nodded n lowered himself on to bed. Downstairs Shashank saw Arav coming from jog,got concerned "Tumhe rest lena chahiye... It's not good to have physical stress beta!"
