Charlotte sat with Lucious for a while and acted like nothing had happened. She made up lies about the night, and how it was magical. Lucious laughed and enjoyed the dream. She lied, but only to keep Lucious innocent and happy.

Before Charlotte walked out of Chris's home, her ex caught up with her at the door. "Char' I just got a new phone and couldn't transfer all of my pictures. I don't know, it's dumb as fuck. But, I need the photo of Lucious at home for the first time and the one of us in the hospital when he was born. You know which ones I'm talkin' bout."

Charlotte nodded her and went to her camera roll to search for the photos. She tried to ignore the feeling of her heart sinking as she looked at her camera roll.

"You good?" Chris noticed her change in behavior. Charlotte tried to shake it off and said that she was fine. "No you're not. We were engaged Char' I know when you're not okay."

"I've seen the articles about you and Drake getting kicked out of the Grammy's. But you just sat there and told Luc' that it was a magical night. What happened?"

Charlotte shook her head, "You know, just can't find a loyal man for my life." She quickly wiped under her eyes so he wouldn't see the tears.
But he did anyway, "I'm sorry," He said lightly.

He wanted to offer her comfort, but he knew that he was the last person she wanted that from.
"I just sent it to you," Charlotte told Chris. As the door closed behind her, Chris's phone chimed.
