looking out a blurry window,
watching the water drop row-by-row.
cars drive by through puddles,
the city lights are subtle and my
music tunes out the rain drops.
my ache for you grew into pain.
a sore throat from screaming from my
rooftop, and memories connected to
emotions like a train.
i believed the pain you gave me
could all one day become love,
until reality destroyed that.
now i'm back in my bed, wandering
'round my head and there's one
thing i know for sure.i'll always think about you when it rains.
