Did her father just say what she thought he would once he discovers Namjoon? He did in fact. Nothing in the world, not even those ghost movies, has ever erected her body hair, but her father just did. Nyra never doubted the capabilities and the reach of her father. She is well aware of what this man can do. She is aware of his authority, which also instills fear in those who do not follow his orders. But when she finally mustered up the courage to respond to her father, his comments fill her with dread.
"Breakup with him or else I'll break him." he threatened, his face devoid of emotion.
She turned her head to face him. It happened, something happened that she feared the most. This is it. And this all seems like something she has seen before like a deja vu.
Nyra shook her head. Her lips opened to say something however it was closed back.
"You know what I'm capable of Princess, don't you?"
And she nodded not doubting any bit of it.
"Now go get freshened and come down for breakfast." He kissed her forehead and patted her back to get going.
Nyra stood up from the couch with her impassive expression and strolled to the steps. But before her foot could land on the stairs her father's voice landed in her ears.
"It's time we find a prince for our princess."
Thereon every step she took to her room she felt every part of her body being slain. A scream erupted from within, and it only became louder and louder within. Nyra walked into her room and perched on the bed's edge. She felt she has lost every one of her senses, her voice couldn't emerge from her mouth and her ears ceased to hear anything. Her mind was racing with thoughts about what had seemingly happened out of nowhere. Minutes prior she was sleeping in his arms ignoring his ears blasting wheezing thinking that she would need to hear it forever. But currently, she has returned to her feelings of fear and vulnerability.
This was not the first time. Nyra has been in this position for many years. Her opinion is not asked and her decision is not respected. Yet, the thought of Namjoon was all over her mind. Nyra is well aware of the consequences as she reminds herself of all those guys that her father had unnecessarily chastised.
If he can do something to them then what will he do to Namjoon?
That thought burst out a scream. She was sobbing uncontrollably now. It was as if a dam broke in the middle and splashed out the water like a cloud burst. The only difference Nyra can't destroy anyone except for herself with her tears.
She fell in love for the first time in her life. And she has never been so certain of anything as she is of this man. However, it all appears to be a dream right now. Everything she loves, everything she wants is turned into a mere dream by her father. His decisions were always forced on her. She somehow couldn't talk back at him. Couldn't keep her stand because she was taught not to. She had to accept their rules and follow them.
