Things were going a bit different from the novel. But the main points of the plot were still the same so Tyche didn't care much about it. Even if things went completely different from the novel, all she would have to do is get Cale all of his ancient powers quicker than in the original plot and tell him where he could find his allies.
Cale was enough of a strategist to know what to do after that.
Of course, for now she didn't need to do anything like that.
"Oi human, I was thinking of heading off to the capital for a while. Since you're going to go there later, I'll join you after your little party with the fatties."-Tyche
The 'fatties' were what Tyche called the nobles who weren't worth mentioning. The 'little party' was of course the giant gathering of rich nobles from around the kingdom. Of course, Cale doubted anyone other than dragons, and perhaps whales, would be talking so lightly about nobles and the most expensive gatherings of all times.
Hong and On looked a bit upset at her leaving but they cheered up soon when she said that she'll get them lots of presents and food. They were upset at her leaving but she said she wouldn't be gone for long and they trusted her. She never lied to them after all.
"Alright, I'm off."-Tyche
Ron, she realized she wouldn't have minded his presence if he wasn't an assassin, had wished her farewell, and had his son prepare some sort of food for her travels. She took it, mostly out of fear. Cale had just mumbled something like, 'I can finally enjoy some time...', but she ignored it and told Ron to make him run around with the knights for at least 15 minutes everyday. Of course, Ron accepted to make Cale's life hellish. Or as he said, to make the young master more healthy.
Choi Han gave her some head pats and said that she could call on him for help whenever she needed it. Choi Han also become her favorite at that very moment.
She stole some cat food from Hans and after visiting Basen and Lily, she went off. She honestly just needed some time to herself after all of the unexpected things that had happened to her. And besides, if she went to the capital then she would be able to see the crown prince. Although she knew he was like Cale, she still wanted to see him.
It was like a fan curiosity.

Hong and On wailed in a corner and Cale sighed seeing them so sad. He didn't understand how 2 cats from the novel had turned into 3 but he just shrugged it off.
He petted their little fluffy heads and Hong said something like, 'Noona did that too...', which he decided to ignore and give them some snacks. They looked happy while eating them and he told them that he would be needing their help soon.
The two looked curious at that and wondered what he could want.

Tyche meowed happily as walked on top of the first prince's castle's walls. The palace was quite beautiful although it was clear that it wasn't as well maintained as the rest of the princes castles'.
'Finally spot him.'
He was in his study. She could see his blonde hair peaking out from the windows as he worked on some papers. He seemed quite focused.
She turned into her human form to throw a rock at his window.
He immediately twisted his body to hide behind his chair as she landed gracefully into his room in her cat form. She could also tell that he was preparing to kill her so she tried to look harmless.
'It seems that he had good reflexes.'
She looked around the place calmly and decided to sit down on the sofas present in the room. The desk had some cookies which she decided to munch on as she got comfortable.
Alberu was so shocked he couldn't help but freeze for a couple of minutes. A random cat, who probably threw the rock on his study's window to jump in safely, had walked in his room like she owns it and eat his cookies without a care in the world.
He reached for his dagger, which was hidden in his desk drawer, as he slowly moved towards her. It could be that this cat was an assassin.
"Relax hu- *ahem* princy, I'm just here to see if the prince of this nation is as handsome as they say. If I wanted to kill you, you already would've been dead~"-Tyche
Alberu once again paused in his steps as he looked at the black cat in front of him. There were so many things to unwrap in the two lines she spoke that he couldn't help but wonder if he had done something to offend god.
In the end, he put on a smile as bright as the sun and sat on the sofa in front of her.
"So cat-"-Alberu
"Tyche."-Tyche
"Tyche-nim, am I as handsome as the rumors say?"-Alberu
"I suppose so. But I do have to say that this place is a mess. This is the first prince's study and there's pieces of glass lying around. The cookies aren't even as good as the ones from Ca- the Henituse territory and you look so pale that it makes me wonder if someone just threatened to take your life or something."-Tyche
He once again took in a deep breath as he wondered exactly what the f**k was going at the moment.
"I see. I will have someone clean up the mess and bring you better cookies to eat then."-Alberu
