[Part-2] Finally meeting the sacrificial human

"Oi. You two were planning to leave without me?"-Tyche

Hong and On looked at her in shock. They liked her because she would always be nice to them and even helped them escape the angry cat people who would come to pick on them but they never expected for her to leave with them. After all, they were planning to 'betray' the tribe. Who would join them with that?

Hong sniffled as she ran over to Tyche and cried in her hands- Er... Paws. On also sniffled as she walked towards the two and Tyche just sighed, out of pity or fondness they couldn't tell, and hugged them close.

"So here's what we'll do, there are humans who have been dealing with the western continent and we'll have to hide ourselves within their ships to escape from this place, ok? There, the cat tribe can't reach us."-Tyche

The two nodded.

And now she had to make them understand the important part of their escape.

"And if by some chance, we get caught. I need you two to go ahead without me-"-Tyche

"No-"-Hong and On

"Because the cat tribe will leave me alive if I lie to them well enough. You two would be killed on the spot. So, what do you do if we get caught?"-Tyche

She looked at the two with the most stern expression she could make. It must've worked as they both looked to the ground and repeated what she said.

'Kids get attached way too easily these days.'

"Come along now, we need to keep moving and not waste energy on standing around and doing nothing. God knows we'll be needing that energy later when we're running from those cursed cat basta- beasts. Actually, god probably doesn't know that. None of the gods have any priests or items here so that they can hear or see the things happening on this mountain. So there will be no god to help us. Even the hero isn't here to help us out and take pity on us. Heck, even that Choi Jung Gun might not be fast enough to save us since he won't be able to locate where we are. This is why I wish that I could've stayed as a reader and not become a part of a book. And-"-Tyche

On and Hong looked so confused and lost that they thought that Tyche was just going crazy. On sighed in pity while Hong nuzzled up to Tyche and lament the loss of of Tyche's sanity.

'I probably should not have done that. I'll have to fix that nervous habit of mine.'

She just sighed and didn't bother to clear up the misunderstanding that occurred.

Grabbing Hong, she placed the small and frail kitten on her back and grabbed On by her mouth and ran forward at the fastest speed possible. She didn't bother to think much about how she was jumping up on trees, or how she instinctively avoided any humans or cats in her way and did not trip.

The two kittens seemed to be in awe of her skills.

'I think we should be able to leave this mountain by the time I slow down. But this body... Did it already have its first growth stage or whatever it was called? I'll have to check my abilities properly once we're safe.'

A few more hours passed by and Tcyhe's speed continued to slow down. They had successfully managed to escape the mountain however, they had pursuers now. The humans had been easy to avoid but there were cats following them now too. If it weren't for the fact that they couldn't tell if Hong and On were with her then she was sure that she would be having the entire tribe running after her.

Right now though, she was just branded a traitor and there were only two or three cats following her. It would be easy to take care of them.

"Hong. You see the trees I just jumped over? Start applying the tiniest bit of poison on them. It doesn't have to be deadly. On, if you see any humans cloud there vision with your fog. I trust you guys to watch my back ok?"-Tyche
