It was my brother, Tom. I hadn't seen him in years.
"Tom!" I yelled
He came over to me. I slid off my heels and ran to him. He outstretched his arms.
"Melissa." Tom said
I ran into his arms.
"Where have you been?" I said
"College." he said
When we pulled out of our hug. Max was standing over by me, angry.
"Max, I'm not cheating on you. This is my brother, Tom." I said
Max smiled.
"I know. I never run out of surprises." Max said
I looked at Tom. He nodded. I shook my head laughing.
"How long are you staying Tom?" I asked
"Till midnight." Tom said
"Thanks for ditching me again Cinderella." I said
I started to cry. I ran away before they could react. I ran home. When I got home, I changed into jeans and a t-shirt. I grabbed one of Max's sweaters and my keys. I left my phone on my bed. I got in my car and started to drive.
Max's POV
Tom and I ran to her house. When I opened the front door, I ran into her room. Tom went to check for her car. Her dress was lying on the floor. Her phone was on the bed. Oh no.
"Max! Her car isn't here!" Tom called
Melissa's POV
I kept driving. Tears were falling down my cheeks. They blurred my vision. I couldn't believe everything. That's when it hit me. Literally hit me. I blacked out.
