Chapter 10: Revelations and the Beginning

Issei: I hope you understand Asia

Asia nodded her head and responded

Asia: I believe in what Chara says, she is right secrets must not be kept from the people you love, but let's just hope that they can handle it

Issei: I believe they can

Issei and the other two decide to head home, there they inform their parents about what Issei is going to do and they both accept it, it was only a matter of when he would decide to tell them. Issei decided to call both Sona and Raynare downstairs given that it is an important matter

Sona: So what is it Issei

Issei: It is about time to tell you about my darkest secret

Sona and Raynare knew that this was important given the tone in Issei's voice, they decided to take a seat and patiently listen

Issei: Alright so do the two of you know of my soul traits?

Both nodded their head in refusal, Issei then activates their soul trait, it was a red heart shape. Both understood this was the soul was that of Determination. Sona being the smarter one understood and asked

Sona: So Ise did you perform a-

Issei: True reset yes, yes I did

Sona was shocked as to what must have drove him to completely reset the timeline, she dreaded to know the answer

Sona: May I know why you did it?

Issei: I will but no one must know about this, I will tell the faction leaders myself

Issei then proceeds to account for every single event that had happened in the previous timeline, from his death at the hands of Raynare, to his reincarnation as a devil servant of her best friend Rias Gremory, him fighting Riser to free Rias from Riser falling in love with Rias and the other girls, the Kokabiel situation, the peace treaty after fighting a few more enemies from Loki to Cao Cao to Trihexa, after falling into a near coma because of fighting the apocalyptic beast after which the Rias and her girls except Rosswiese and Asia betrays him and sleeps with other men including Irina, who did not hesitate to abandon him and discard him without a second thought. He then encounters both Trihexa and Chara who would tell them about this information. After telling about certain loved ones who stayed with him till the very end, Issei committed the reset, with only those said people remembering the previous timeline

Sona and Raynare was shocked and depressed given that their lover had gone through so much. Raynare was the most affected from this revelation as she could not even imagine the possibility of hurting Issei, let alone killing him. She wanted to go back and punch the living hell out of this counterpart for hurting her boyfriend. Sona on the other hand was also not taking this news too well, she couldn't even expect Rias to do such a heinous action to betray someone and use them as a tool needs cruelty and apathy, which Rias or atleast the Rias of this timeline was not capable of doing such a thing. Sona on the other hand wanted to punish Rias or atleast slap the shit out of her peerage except Kiba. She was also aware that his heart would break if he knew about his sister's actions so she decided to not tell the leaders until Issei decides the time is right but for now agreed to keep quiet. Both couldn't take it in and decided to embrace Issei while crying their hearts out

Raynare (Crying): I am so sorry Issei, for what she did, I would never do that to you, she does not deserve you

Raynare constantly kept crying at what she knew was a possible alternate of hers, she knew why Issei did not want to tell her about the secret, even she would have wanted to desperately wanna forget if her past self did such an heinous action to the one she loved, betrayal towards someone she loved requires cruelty and psychopathy. She may be a fallen angel but she had a heart. Issei had held her tightly as she constantly cried on his chest, she wanted to stay by his side but now she was not even sure that would be possible or not. Issei now realized that she truly was not the same Raynare, not even a small trace of her remained in this new person. Issei had embraced her in return knowing that she truly loved him no matter what
