Hello! Just a short note or smth.

I hope I gave justice to my imagination or ideas for this one, this special chapter is kinda rushed kasi. Pero ayun nga I really wanted to share or show this special chapter talaga since this is the part in where Calli's true self will slowly start to break free from the chains or walls that she, herself, created. And mas maiintindihan niyo ang flow/pinaka-main problem/conflict ng story or ni Calliope dahil dito. (Hopefully.) So... that's it hehe.

To you who's reading this, don't be afraid to shine.
:))

(By the way, this is during the small event ng band nila Aiden for the animal rescue.)

______

I tried to close my eyes again, hoping that i'm just hallucinating. Hoping that my mind is just playing with me at this moment.

Pero wala. She's still there. She's here. She's really here in front of me.

That's when I stopped singing, the crowd started to get confused as to why I stopped pero bago pa man ako malapitan ni Aiden para magtanong kung ayos lang ba ako ay agad na akong tumakbo papalayo.

Wala na akong pakielam sa kung anong mangyayari doon because I left. I just want to get out of there.

I ran away as fast as I can hanggang sa tumigil ako sa isang open field. Dahil naman sa naging pagod ko sa pagtakbo ay uupo na sana ako sa damuhan nang may bigla namang humawak sa braso ko.

"Calli?" I heard Aiden's voice from behind.

"I'm sorry." I said when I suddenly realized what I did out there after hearing his voice.

"It's okay, halika dito." Tinanggal niya muna ang suot niyang flannel bago niya ito inilapag sa may dumuhan.

Magtatanong na sana ako kung para saan 'yon when he suddenly grabbed my shoulders and softly let me sit there.

After that, he also sat beside me. "Pa'no ka?" I asked in a low voice.

Ngumiti naman siya saakin, "I'm okay," pinagpag niya pa ang suot niyang slightly ripped denim jeans before sitting properly.

Seeing that he doesn't look uncomfortable naman, umayos nalang ako ng upo at tumingin nalang sa malayo.

Neither of us dared to say a single thing for a few minutes when Aiden finally decided to break our deafening silence.

"Calliope Sonata Madrigal," I removed my gaze at the colorful sky to look at him.

"It's like you're wearing a mask, and the true you is hiding behind it." He glanced at me before slightly strumming the guitar his holding.

Na ngayon ko lang napansin na dala-dala pala niya.

"So you noticed." I sighed lightly, without denying every word of what he said.

Bakit pa ba ako magsisinungaling? What he's saying is true naman.

So there's no point in hiding or denying it anymore. Even to myself.

And maybe, maybe it's also because I needed someone to talk to about this right now.

Nakita ko naman ang bahagyang pag-ngiti niya sa 'kin bago siya tumingin pabalik sa langit, "Anyone would surely notice, because you're like a bright star peeping in the dark clouds and sky every time that the true you shows."
