why do i keep doing this to myself
i just distance myself from people thinking they'll miss me and need me.
when in actual fact, they don't.
my brain tricks my heart,
and every time, i side with my brain.
stupid

i'm forgettable but my mind doesn't know that.
my mind is naïve
my mind is what is wrong with me
my mind is my downfall.
