Today was not a good day. First thing was that nasty fall you took during the competition, leaving you with a scraped knee and your team was on the verge of losing because of you. That led to you being ostracized, and you were basically abandoned for the day. That sucks, but you figured that you could just doodle something while you waited for them to not be mad at you. So off you went, sitting on the cliff above a lake. But, being as cursed as you were, you pulled out your beloved notebook, only to hopelessly watch it fall into the lake down below. Drawings and doodles that you've worked on for hours, all tossed away into the abyss.

So here you stand, silently wandering into your room with a heavy heart. All you really wanted is to sleep, but of course, there was something in the way of that. Your roommate, Lollipop. As soon as you walked in, she gave you a concerned look

"Hey, what's up?" Her monotone, silky voice was worried. The fact that she cared so much to ask you, it made your heart skip a beat. You honestly had... Well, you had a bit of a crush on her. So hearing her being so concerned about you... your face turned a light shade of pink.

"N-nothing, Lollipop." You cursed at yourself silently for stuttering. Of course, now she's suspicious of you. "I'm fine. Just... a bad day."

Understandably, she was unconvinced. Putting her hand on your shoulder, she gazed at your slumped over figure. It was very clear that there was something on your mind, and that made her frown. She didn't like seeing you like this, it felt so wrong. "Hon, you can tell me what's wrong. I promise it will make you feel better." She prompted.

The usage of the nickname made your heart skip a beat, and as you turned to look at her, you were greeted with the most sincere look you had ever seen. Eyes widening, your gaze drifted off to the side, slightly embarassed to give in. But, in the end, you did.
Cradled in her arms while the two of you sat on her bed together, you sobbed into her as she rubbed your back soothingly. She was being so gentle, so loving. You almost couldn't believe this was real. After all, you thought that she just didn't pay attention to you, not that you minded. But feeling how much care and love she put into comforting you, your heart raced with even the mere thought of it.

You looked up at her, wiping your eyes with your wrist. "Lollipop, I, uhm... I think there's something I need to tell you."

She raised an eyebrow, but kept that caring expression on her face. Her intriuge made you flustered, as you stuttered out your confession.

"I- kinda- I love you, okay? Lollipop, you're just- so cool and pretty-" Cutting you off, her lips met yours. It was sweet, quite literally, and filled with so much care. When the two of you parted, she carressed your face with her thumb, smiling at your lovestruck expression.

"I love you too, (Y/N)."
