It's been over and hour since sky went to get food and I'm starting to wonder if she's ok

It shouldn't take her and hour to get food and come back I check to them to see it's 6:15 I close my lab top and grab my bag maybe sky is just stuck in traffic New York is a busy place

Shutting off my office lights I make my way down towards the lobby.

Walking down towards the Lobby i say good night to Casey and some other Coworkers before walking out the building

As I was walking out I notice skys car still in the parking lot I raise and eyebrow before walking over towards her car

Looking down at the ground I see her phone cracked and her keys right next to it my heart started beating a little fast

I pick up the phone and see drops of blood between the cracks I look at the ground and see trail of blood on the ground from her car door to the end of her car making my heart beat even faster I look inside the car and see nobody in it

No no no I thought before I drop all the things I had in my hands on the ground and run back into the building

"C-Casey did you see sky come by here" i asked panicked

"Yes why" she asked looking at me concerned

"S-she'd was supposed to go get food and hour ago a-and t-there I-is a-a p-puddle o-of b-blood w-where h-her c-car" i say through tears feeling like my throat is about to close

"What" she asked running from behind the counter and out the building the people that were still in RO looked at us confused.

Casey runs towards skys car and I follow between her Casey bend down and touches the blood and looks at her Fingers before turning towards me

"It's Fresh blood...call the police" she says in a serious tone.

"When was the last time you saw her" the officer asked me

"A-about and h-hour a-ago s-she w-was supposed t-to g-go g-get f-food" i say shakily

The office writes down what I had said as I look around at all the people outside there apartments look at what's going on.

The other officers keeping people away from the area investigators taking samples of the blood and taking picture of the scene.

I watch as They took skys phone and keys and put them into bags

Red and blue light shining brightly almost blinding me.

"Do you your Ms. Evans have
perhaps And enemy or something like that" the officer asked me

I thought for a second not thinking of anyone

"No not that I know of" i say sucking in a breath

The officer nods scribbling on the note pad her had in his hands

"Okay Ma'am if you do think of someone please come down to the station and let us know and if you want to make a missing person report please do my name is Officer. D so just come down the station and ask for me have a good night Ma'am oh also Im very sorry this happened to you" officer D. Said sympathetically before getting back in his car and drive away and the others follow.

"It'll be okay" Casey says pulling me into a hug i sob into her shoulder

"Who could of done something like this but most importantly why, why is this world so fucking up" i sob

"We'll find her I promise but for now you need to go home and eat and you need call skys family and let them know what happened" she says i nod my head sniffling I give her a hug before grabbing my things and walking towards my car but kit before taking a glance at skys car trying not to cry.
