Walking into spring Ob/gyn I walk up to the lady at the front desk.
"Hi I'm here for and appointment with Ms. Henry" the lady looks at me before looking back down
"Name please"
"Rosalina O'Conner" she types in the computer
"Okay someone will call you back in a minutes just have a seat please" I didn't have to sign any papers since I'm not a new patient
I sigh heavily before sitting down I hate waiting in waiting rooms. —-
"Rosalina O'Conner" a short women calls my name I look over before getting up and following her
"Hello" she says looking up at me since I'm five feet taller than her
"Hello" i say politely back
"Okay I need to sit down on this chair I'm just going to put this monitor on your finger while taking your blood pressure" she says putting a monitor on my finger and then wrapping the blood pressure wrap around my arm.
I sit still watching her take my blood pressure that thing squeezed the fuck out of my arm making my groan lightly
"Okay I need you to stand on that scale for me please" she says while typing my information into the computer
I stand on the scale she takes my weight before having me stand against the wall to take my height after she took all my information she lead me to a room and handed me a cup
"Okay I need you to pee in this cup and once your done leave in the bathroom on the tray and come back her" i nod my head before leaving to go towards the bathroom to do my business
I walk back into the room after doing my business the nurse looks at me before leaving The room I'm assuming to get the doctor.
Getting onto the bed with a sigh I lay down and wait for the doctor to come in

The door opens making me get up and sit up straight. A blonde women with brown eyes walks into the room with a clips board
"Good to see you again Rosa how are you" she says sitting down "Good to see you aswell I'm doing good"
"that's good...okay so let's get to the point of why your here today I want you to get undress from the waist down and I just want to check to make sure everything looks good okay" she says before grabbing a towel from the cabinet and handing it me
She leaves so I can get undress good thing I was wearing a skirt today i pull down my skirt and underwear before hopping back up on the bed putting my feel on the pegs before calling her back in.
She comes back in she turns on this big white light before grabbing the specula Cusco Lubing it up before putting it inside of me
We make a little conversation talking about are lives and how we were doing.
*knock* *knock* someone knocks on the door before opening it I see the nurse from earlier with a clip board
"Oh I'm sorry.. Ms. Henry um I have the results back I'll just set them right here" she says before setting down the clip board
"Thank you Valerie" she says before talking the specula Cusco out of me the nurse nods before leaving
While Ms.Henry is turned around I hurry and put back on my clothes
"Okay let's see what this is about" Ms.Henry says looking at the clip board I hear her gasp before covering it with a cough
"Do you have any questions concerns" she asked making me nod
"Yes actually Um my stomach has been very bloated lately And I've been feeling very nauseous" i say making her chuckle I look at her confused at why she's laughing
"Oh yes about that Um rosa have you been having intercourse lately"
"Um yes...why"
"Well Um your not bloated your eight weeks pregnant" Dr.Henry says
I feel the world around me stop it feels like everything is going in slow motion. The only words I can hear are "𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑒𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑘𝑠 𝑃𝑟𝑒𝑔𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑡"
"Congratulations Rosa" Dr.Henry says before getting up She leaves me there sitting in my own thoughts
That explains why my stomach has gotten bigger the nausea the cravings how the fuck did u not think of being pregnant
N-no I can't be pregnant I'm about to be forty I can't carry a baby how am I supposed to tell sky what if she doesn't want a baby....w-what if she leaves me
Doctors pregnancy tests aren't Always accurate right...
I thought my heart starting to race faster I grab my phone before rushing out the hospital and making my way to cvs

Grabbing a random pregnancy test box i rush towards the counter handing the test to the cashier.
The cashier scans the box they were about to put it in a bag before I snatch it away from them setting down a twenty dollar bill before running towards the bathroom.
I pee on the two pregnancy test sticks and turn them over for j won't see what they say.
The next two minutes felt like hours my legs bounces up and down my acrylic nails are all popped off at this point.
I get startled at my alarm going over I turn off the alarm before slowly turning over the tests
"Fuck my life" I thought before letting a tear run down my cheek

I read the word pregnant over and over again letting out a sob not caring if anybody heard
"How am I going to tell sky" I thought
Unconsciously I let my hand run over my stomach I smile feeling a little foot nudge my hand
