Diamond falls asleep on the cold surface. She's woken up by the rays of the bright sun coming in through her bedroom window.
Diamond gets up out of bed and walks to her mirror, and doesn't seem shocked as of what she sees in the reflection. The bags under her eyes are dark enough that even the bags have bags. But most important, the horns that Desolation had, are now showing on herself. She thinks to herself, I should get some help. But if I do, I might scare my friends. Also, what if Desolation comes out and hurts them? I don't want to risk any of that but, I'm not sure if I can handle this on my own.
She then closes her eyes, and hears a shocked voice come from behind her.
-Cotten Candy: Umm... Diamond?! Are those horns?!
Diamond turned around quickly, and sees her friend Cotten Candy standing in the doorway.
-Diamond: Uhh.. Heeeyy~ Cotten! How ya been?
-Cotten Candy: How have I been?! Really?! What's happening to you?!
Diamond can see the worry and fright in her friend, and feels compelled to tell her what's going on.
