I also wanna make something clear, Gays and Lesbians make jokes like this, we do. I joke about how I'd go straight for Ryan Reynolds. There is a massive difference between joking about changing your sexuality for someone and asking about changing your sexuality. The line between them is a bit thin, but it's there, and unless you know the person you're talking to is cool with that kind of joke you shouldn't really use it with them.
