(August)

Today I'm goin to pick up Ma'kayla up from school we been spending a lot of time together and I been having a good time wit her she just somebody I can chill wit and she ain't judgemental about my life and that's what I like the most about her.

"Hey august"she said hopping into my car

"Hey Kayla" I said pulling off

"So what's planned for tovday.?" She asked

"What you got on.?"

Not that I was jealous or nun I was just askin you know.?

"Um jean shorts and A white shirt and white low top converses" she said confused

I nodded and looked over at her and smiled

"You look nice by the way"

"Thanks"

"Where you tryna go.?" I asked

"Anywhere"

"Wanna go to my crib"

"Ya" she said as she sat back

This was the first time I was takin Kayla to my house and I hope she like it

I haven't told Kayla how I feel and I don't think I ever will because I just don't think I'm the type of person to tell someone how I feel.

Once we pulled up to my crib I went over to her door and opened it for her,

"Nigga why you bein so weird.?" She laughed

"I can't open yo door.?" I asked

She smiled a little then she hugged me

"Thank you august"

"For what.?"I asked laughing

"For our friendship" she said seriously

"You welcome"

Then I grabbed her hand and started to walk up my porch stairs I unlocked the door and her mouth dropped.

"This is so nice august"

"I try" I said then closing the door

"So what u wanna do.?" I added

"Its your house nigga" she said laughing

"Basketball.?"

"No"

"Movie.?"

"Ya" she said walking towards me then she wrapped her hands around my neck

"Your handsome" she said smiling

"Your beautiful" I said lifting grabbing her chin

Then I leaned in and so did she

We made out for about 10 minutes this actually normal, we always make out but we never showed eachother affection and that's the weird thing about us and that's why I feel like she doesn't even like me she just appreciates me being here for her.

"august can I ask you something.?"

"Yeah" I said

"What are we" she asked

And thats the question that punched me in the face because I don't think I'm ready for a relationship my lifestyle just won't allow it but I think I like Kayla and I honestly don't know what we are.

"I don't know" I said truthfully

She nodded

"I have to go" she said before leaving out the door and by then I knew I messed up.
