I wake up so slowly with my head pounding, I wiggle around in his arms trying not to wake him up. His arms? Who's arms? I shoot up and see Steve sleeping next to me "oh shit" I say, his eyes open and he shoots up "you scared me" he says while lying back on the bed "Uh Oh" Venom adds as the guilt starts to overtake, I bury my head in my hands and shake it in annoyance "guilty?" Steve asks "is it that obvious?" I ask "it didn't bother you when we shared you before" Steve adds while resting a hand on my shoulder "I wasn't in love with the both of you before" I say, Steve sighs "maybe I should back off" he says "Steve I don't want to hurt you" I say "the don't push me away" Steve replies "why are you guilty?" He asks "do you regret it?" He asks and I sigh "I feel guilty because I don't" I reply "I feel guilty because you were the one person he was ever insecure off, I feel guilty because I fell in love with you when I was still dating him, I feel guilty because he is frozen and despite telling me to move on. I doubt he would've been happy knowing I moved on with his best friend" I say
"He knew you know?"
"Knew what?"
"About your feelings for me, it's why he stopped acting so crazy about us being friends. He knew you wanted me involved in your life even if it wasn't romantic, so he pushed aside everything bad he felt about our friendship just so you wouldn't fall out of love with him regardless of being in love with me"
"This whole time?"
"He heard a recording of a conversation between you, Venom, Natasha and Clint"

I look into his eyes for a few seconds "in his letter, he told me to find someone who felt like home" I whisper "he heard that from that conversation, that's what Venom explained what I felt for you" I continue "you feel like home" I say before resting my forehead against his, Steve gives me a small smile before kissing me softly "maybe we should keep whatever this is between us for now" Steve says and I nod in agreement "and considering what happened last time, I would like to take this a little slow" I say, I look between us and let out a laugh "is this slow enough?" Steve asks looking under the covers "well this is what started all of this" I say with a smile "actually it all started at the terrace" Steve says and I nod with a laugh
*knock knock*
"Shit" Venom and I say in unison "language" Steve replies almost impulsively, I look at him absolutely confused and let out the most real laugh I have let out since Bucky left "did you just say language?" I ask while laughing uncontrollably, Steve shakes his head in embarrassment while changing into his clothes. I get up changing into some jeans and a black tight top while still laughing before opening the door "I missed that laugh" Natasha says while walking in the room "thought I would find the both of you here" Natasha says with a wink "there's some hot shot producer guy here that wants to talk to you" Natasha says to me making me frown "what?" I ask "you should go hear him out, and you, we were meant to be training about an hour ago" Natasha says to Steve "oh right" he replies embarrassed "I'm going to go, I'll see you guys" I say, I put my hair up in a ponytail and go to the meeting room "what do you think this is going to be about?" Venom asks "I have absolutely no idea" I reply while walking in
"Hello?" I ask with a small smile while offering my hand "Angelina Romanoff, it is a wonderful pleasure to meet you. I am Michael Rey, a musical producer" he says proudly "nice to meet you Mr Rey, please call me Angel" I say still smiling "Angel, I like that" Mr Rey replies "may I ask what it is you're here for Mr Rey?" I ask "call me Michael" he replies and I nod "someone posted a video of you singing during one of Mr Starks parties, everyone seems to absolutely love your energy and I think that I could turn you into a musical sensation" Michael says and I just stare at him "what?" I ask "I am sure you heard me, you have insane potential" Michael says "I will let you think about that, here is my card. Once you made a decision you give me a call okay?" Michael says and I nod "I am looking forward to working with you Angel" Michael says with a wink before walking away
"Do it" Venom says happily "no I can't" I say placing the card on the table in front of me as I sit down "I have a job to do here, people to save. I have my sister and I have Steve" I say shaking my head "I can feel your confusion, I know there's a part of you who wants this. You love being up on stage with all eyes on you, you like watching everyone dancing and swaying their bodies to your voice" Venom says "when I'm up on stage I feel free" I whisper "then accept it" Venom says, I get up from my seat and run out trying to find Michael who was already in his car "wait wait Michael" I yell, he stops the car and tolls down his window with a smile "I'll do it" I say with a smile "That is great news, I will send a car for you tomorrow" Michael says and drive away. I walk back inside with my heart on my sleeves "Hey FRIDAY, call a meet right now please" I say "calling a meeting" FRIDAY replies
I go to the meeting room and just wait for everyone to arrive "what's going on?" Steve asks "I had a meeting with a music producer today who wants to take me to LA" I say "what?" Peter asks "he says he has great plans for me and all this wonderful stuff that I just couldn't let pass by me" I say, I see the look on Steve's eyes. It's the same look I had when Bucky said he was leaving "I accepted his offer" I say "you're retiring as an avenger?" Mr Stark asks and I nod
"It's just something I have to do"
