everyone knows the seven deadly sins.

pride.

greed.

lust.

envy.

gluttony.

wrath.

sloth.

we all indulge in these sins, whether we'd like to admit it or not.

we all want to say we're better.

we all want money.

we all want to feel good.

we all want to be better.

we all want more.

we all want someone to fail.

we all want to rest.

we assume our actions that reflect these sins are the physical embodiment of the sins. what we failed to see is that there could be a physical being that is every bit the sin and every bit worse than us.

what we couldn't imagine is that these sins wanted love.

these physical beings not only indulge in these sins ten, hundreds, thousands of times worse than we could but want and hunt for a love that could fix everything.

if we looked at these being, they would look like regular humans. and just like humans, they're complicated.

but humans want something angelic. they want something perfect and other worldly. while the sins were other worldly, they definitely weren't angelic.

love didn't work for them. they could never love the way they saw couples on the street love. they could never love the way that movies show. they could never love the way they wanted to.

no one wanted someone who thought they were better than everyone else.

no one wanted someone who only focused on money.

no one wanted someone who only wanted pleasure.

no one wanted someone who constantly wished they were better and worked on only that.

no one wanted someone who took and took and took.

no one wanted someone who prayed on others down fall.

no one wanted someone who only slept and never paid attention to them.

no one wanted the sins.

that was until there were a few who did.

that was until there was someone who wanted someone who focused on pleasure.

that was until there was someone who wanted someone who focused on money, someone who worked to much on themselves, someone who took too much, someone who wished the worse on others.

all the sins found love.

all but one.

the only one who couldn't bother to get up and find someone. the only one who focused on sleeping and relaxing than finding love.

sloth.

not that sloth didn't want love. he wanted love. he wanted someone to treasure and to be with. he saw who his bothers were when they found love. they became better. they were freed of the shackles of endless sin.

but he could never find it.

though he wished and wished for someone, anyone just to show up and be the one.

one day that wish came true.
