"Zackary Elijah James...get your butt down here before you miss your ride" I yell from the bottom of the step as quick footsteps rush down to the kitchen..
"Hey...no running, breakfast" I say to him
"Pancakes" he beams as he digs into the breakfast of pancakes,eggs,bacon and orange juice.
"Do you have your bags packed?" I ask...with a full mouth he nods his head and returns to scarfing down his food.
"Your passport,inhaler,cellphone too?" I ask
"Yes mom...for the uptheen time I have everything mom" he says rolling his eyes at me
"You wanna run that by me again?" I question as he straightens up
"Yes mom I have everything" he responds.
"Excellent now go get ready, Mr.Green will be here any minute."I told him as he finishes his breakfast.
The school that he goes to is taking a trip to visit one of the leading Technological companies of the world, its also a day where they present new ideas to the public and test how they respond.
Zac has a thing for it so I let him go along with his best friend and neighbour, Ryan Hill, who stays with his uncle, Mr.Green.
Two hours later, Zac has left and I'm on my way to work. I work and own my own real estate company. James's Real Estate Services, is my very own company that I started from scratch right out of college so that I would be able to take care of Zac by myself seeing as I moved away from my mom was living so that I can have my own space and raise Zac the way I think he should be raised.
"Morning Ayana" My assistant, Rayvern says
"Good morning Ray, do I have any showings?" I asked
"No, but the President of ...."She said but I zoned out because I was thinking about Zac.
"Did u hear me?" She said
"No what was it?" I said
"You have a meeting with Mr.Wong, he's vp of Ming Industries" she clarified as we made our way to the meeting room. I fixed my outfit and I entered, tall,sexy and confident because confidence is everything.
"Good morning gentlemen" I smile as the group of men quiet down
"Good morning, Mrs.James" a tall thin guy spoke
"Its Ms.James, but you can call Ayana..how can I help you gentlemen today" I said with a smile, while signaling them to take a seat.
"Well, we would like to be a silent partner in your real estate company" another one said
"No....anything else?" I spoke
"You seem to not understand what position your in" another tried to reason and I laughed
"No...I think you seem to be the confused one here.....THIS is MY company....its NOT owned by the bank....it doesn't have PARTNERS....and it'll stay that way...the day hell freezes over will be the day it changes" I told them
"Ah, still feisty I see, yeoja agi(babygirl)" the deep voice of the last person I ever wanted to see spoke
"Dipshit" I said rolling my eyes and crossing my arms over my chest
"What insolence....don't you know who your talking too?" Another guy spoke angrily.
"Why are you taking offence....yes I know who he is....dipshit" I spoke
"Oh you wound me" he said fake hurt with a hand over his heart
"Mr.Choo, what brings you here?" I said going back into my professional state.
