Start from the beginning

"Hey Ise. What's up this time?" I answered the phone.

"Tell me why did Princeton just post a picture of a call in progress with the contact as GoddessA with a less than number three?" Isis asked.

"What?" I gasped.

"Yeah. He posted it like five seconds ago." Isis said.

"Oh. Well, hold on." I said and pressed a button to make the calls merge.

"Say hey Isis." I smirked.

"Hey?" Isis said unsure.

"What's up, Isis? I'm Roc Royal." Roc greeted.

"Ahhhh!" Isis screamed. "Oh my God! No way!"

I smiled widely. Roc Royal is Isis's favorite.

"Yes way, Isis. This is Prodigy." Prodigy said.

"Yo its your man, Ray Ray." Ray shouted like he was far away.

"And this is yours truly, Princeton." Princeton said and I could hear a smile in his voice.

"Oh my God! Artemis, you are so wrong for putting on the phone with them without any notice or warning." Isis growled.

"Aww. She's nervous." Roc teased.

"Boy please. I ain't nervous about nothing." Isis said and I could tell that she was rolling her eyes.

"You're sassy. I like that." Roc sighed.

"Your face; yeah. I like that shit." Isis said. Roc chuckled and sang to Isis,

"Where you stay? What's your favorite food? Girl, I wanna get to know you. Somehow, some way. Sometime, some place. Matter fact let's start today."

Isis squealed and giggled.

"Hi. My name is Artemis and I don't want to hear this flirting." I said.

"And I'm Ray Ray. I don't want to hear this either." Ray joked.

"I'm Prodigy."

"And I'm Princeton. And we don't want to hear this either." Princeton said.

"Don't hate on my skills." Roc said.

"What skills? Boy all you got is a pretty face." Isis scoffed.

"Ise, shut up!" I hissed. "I'm sorry guys. Isis is a hot, hard headed person."

"It's fine." Prodigy laughed.

A pregnant silence followed Prodigy's words.

"Awkward silences lead to gay babies." I said and the boys laughed.

"Nice why to break the silence, Goddess." Roc said.

"Aye! Roc, stay with one girl please." Princeton scolded and Isis and I giggled.

"How old are you, Isis and Artemis?" Prodigy asked.

"Thirteen." We answered. "Stop. Stop it. Stop."

"Are you two twins?" Roc asked.

"No, but we do have a twin. I have a twin sister." I said.

"And I have a twin brother." Taylor said.

"Cool. Wait. Did you saying you were thirteen?" Roc asked.

"Yeah." We said.

"And turning fourteen soon?" Ray added.

"No. We turned thirteen this year." Taylor said slowly.

"Whoa. From what Prince showed us, Artemis, you don't look thirteen. I don't know about you though, Isis." Prodigy sighed.

"Yeah. Aye, Ise, we should go. We have school in the morning and its late." I said as I looked at the clock.

"What are you talking about? It's only seven." Prodigy asked.

"In L.A yeah, but in New Orleans it's nine." Isis said.

"Whoa. Sorry. I didn't know. Well, night, girls. Maybe we can talk another time." Prodigy said. I could hear a smile in his voice.

"Night, ladies. Goddess Isis, I'm gonna need those digits before we go, ma." Roc said in a deep voice.

"504-853-5581." Isis said.

"Yeaaah!" Roc cheered. "Night Egyptian Goddess and Greek Goddess."

"Night Greece. Egypt. Talk to you soon." Ray said. He's voice sounded far away.

"Bye, Prince. Artemis. My mom is yelling at me to go to sleep." Isis sighed and ended her call.

Now it was just Princeton and me.

"Am I still on speaker?" I asked.

"No. When Ray left I turned it off." Princeton said.

"Oh cool." I nodded. We were quiet for a few heartbeats.

"Awkward. Another gay baby is being born." Princeton joked and I laughed.

"I should really go. I do have school tomorrow." I sighed sadly.

"Alright. I talk to you later, Artemis." Princeton sighed.

"Night, Prince." I said. We stayed on the phone.

"Hang up." He said.

"No, you hang up." I smiled.

"No, you hang up." He laughed.

"No, you hang up." I yawned.

"No, you hang up." He mocked my yawn.

"How about I hang up?" I heard a woman asked.

"Who's--"

"Shh Keisha!" Princeton hissed.

"Are you talking to your Mrs. Right, your #1 Girl, GoddessA with a less than number three?" Keisha teased.

"Yeah. Bye Artemis. I'll talk to you later." Princeton whispered.

"Night." I said before he hung up.

I put my pillow over my head and screamed into it.
