kiyoomi's pov:

ive never, under any circumstances, been intrigued by love. i rarely make contact with individuals, since i have social anxiety. ive never had a girlfriend, or a romantic partner i've been interested in. besides from my cousin and a few family members, i dont make contact with anyone.

enough of my "social anxiety" vent. i loathe love. majority of the population might say i have philomisia. for instance, the denotation is having hatred towards love. why fall in love, just so you can watch it go away? my aspiration is to never love another individual that might have the chance to mentally and emotionally hurt me.

i play the piano, a percussion instrument. i'm attending a crucial competition. evidently, being held at a tennis court covered up with some tent-like thing. we were requested to dress elegantly. zilch caught my eye. until i saw her.

her delicate (h/t) went flawlessly with her (h/c) hair. her impeccably (e/c) eyes. her dignified white heels. her irreproachable white dress. her feautures connetced flawlessly with each other. i couldn't help but to notice she was eyeing me from across the room. so i did what any sane individual would do, i made my way to greet her.

she looked rather...neurotic? but was certainly trying to act unceremonious. making my way towards her, i realized. i had never been intrigued by love, until this very moment. not the slighest idea why i was acting this way.

"good evening, i'm sakusa kiyoomi, pleasure to meet you." i uttered while sticking out my gloved hand for her to shake.

"good evening, my name's l/n, f/n. nice to meet you." she shook my gloved hand.

"i couldn't help but to notice you eyeing me from across the room, miss l/n." i spoke.

"my dear apologies mr. sakusa! i couldn't contain myself from taking a scrutiny of you outfit. very well put together, i must say. and please, call me f/n." she exclaimed.

"why thank you f/n for your lovely compliment. do you happen to attend this event for a musician  audition for a competition?" i inquire

"yes, i am indeed attending this event for a musician audition. i play the cello. i assume you are attending for this same audition? may i ask what instrument do you play?" she attentively questions.

"i play the piano and have been playing since i was twelve." i exclaim back.

"fasinating! i've been playing the cello since my last year of primary school. approximately, i was ten or eleven years old."

"i must say, you look lovely in your white dress" i compliment.

"why thank you! may i inquire, can i have your number?" she questions.

"certainly, its XXX-XXX-XXXX" i respond.

"i'll get going, im certain the audition will begin soon and call out names. i'll catch you later!"

"greetings! have a lovely night!"

the start of something new.
