This was closer to the start of the war when she was still a part of Virginia. She's always been really sweet and outgoing, very quick to care about others, but she will not hesitate to call something out as wrong. If she thinks it's wrong then everyone is gonna know about it. Which was most definitely a thing when it came to being a part of Dixie, she absolutely hated it and really didn't agree with what he stood for. Which also led to her being upset with Virginia for a while. They do eventually move on from it but they were never as close after she split from him.
