Hello! Again... after a whole year! That hiatus was way longer than I expected it to be, I'm sorry about that. 2024 was pretty long and challenging, but happy holidays. I hope you guys had a nice time :D I'm gonna talk for a bit, but you don't have to read it if you don't want to. The important part is in bold!
So... as you might or might not know, I began writing this story a few years ago, not really knowing my intentions or how I would go along with it. During the process, I ended up being very unsatisfied with how the story was turning out and decided to rewrite it!
The story has changed quite a lot— If not, every aspect of it has changed. But, I hope you enjoy it regardless. I'm finally satisfied with how this process is currently going, and I hope the wait has been worth it. If anyone's still here reading this and waited all this time to read Metanoia, thank you for your patience! I won't promise consistency with the chapters, but I'll definitely try my best to keep up.
Now, for the mildly important stuff that I'd like for you to read before beginning!
Metanoia is a story about my OC, Akari Mizuri and Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia. I believe this goes unsaid, but just in case, this story is not Y/N x Midoriya. Akari has her own personality, her own development and is her own character.
This story contains mature topics and language. Whenever a chapter has too strong of a subject, I will put warnings before so you can read at your own discretion. There is also no NSFW content in this story.
Metanoia might not be completely accurate to the actual anime, but I try my best to keep the canon character's personalities as accurate as possible.
The drawings that I will include are Akari drawn into Horikoshi's sketches, scenes from the anime, etc. I don't own MHA nor its characters, only my own scenes and characters.
That being said, thank you again for taking your time out to read this. It's not completely necessary, but I like to add it for the new readers and possibly the old ones that stuck around lol.
