Pain

The pain ne'er subsides,
It seeks to encounter means of getting through.
Whether by crying,
Whether by shouting,
Whether by resting still.

Some of us have felt the trauma on different points,
As yet, some share their experience and some confine them forever.

Pain is a stinging sensation in the heart,
A piercing one in the tiniest vein.
A sharp flame of fire caught up,
A heartbeat that doesn't feel thy own.

A zoned out gaze,
A feeling of helplessness.
A rapid pounding of the heart,
An uneven, hitched breathing.

A thought of panicking,
A daze of anxiety.

Don't think about the situation,
Even if it's of the past,
Or may happen in the future.

If that may be supposed to be true,
Then it has chances of not too.
A chance of hope and belief is always there,
Carry 'em through the mended hearts.
