As Kaidan turned his back on her, leaving her on Horizon, she knew Kaidan wouldn’t understand why she was doing what she was, not until the Collectors were stopped. But, she decided, by then she won’t care what he thinks. He has turned his back on her and she will not prove herself to him just because he fails to see that she is the same Shepard she always was. She was surprised how well she took his blatant disregard for the fact she actually was dead for the two years they’d been apart. But as he left she knew she was in the right, after all she knows to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.
