Chapter 21

"You're deep in thoughts again" a voice that snapped her out of her daydream

Isaac leans his shoulder on her door and slowly making his way sits next to her on the edge of the bed. Elia just looks at him and then back to staring at the window but smiling slightly to let him know that it was just a good thought not a bad thought

"I'm so happy Isa. There's no word I could describe this feeling" Elia said

"I know Lia. Finally, you've found the happiness you've been looking for" Isaac said smiling at her

"But somehow I was worried if I screwed things up" Elia said whispering

"Well, we're human. We're not perfect" Isaac informs her

"I was born in a different Isa. I was supposed to be perfect. I want to be perfect for my mom and dad" Elia said furrowing her eyebrows

"No, don't go there Lia. I swear to god don't. no one could be perfect. You just have to be yourself which you did right now. Lia, there's many times I told you that problems will always appear in our life. It's normal" Isaac said giving piece of advice to her

"And you are perfect just the way you are" Isaac added, making Elia sigh and laid her head down on his shoulders.

Little did they know; the adults were outside of the room hearing every single thing since the beginning. They felt bad for that girl because she's scared to deal with good things in her life when all this while was chaos.

-TIME JUMP-

It has been 3 days since they officially moved into their new house. 2 days ago, they held a housewarming party with others. Lizzie and Seb invited all of the cast they've been working with all this while and introduced Elia to them which somehow Elia has improved on; getting to know more people and be less awkward.

But there's one problem, Elia's education somehow dropped a bit. Which is frustrating for her to deal with. She's been struggling studying all night long because of this stupid impromptu test to make her cover back her dropped grades.

When all this while you've been always having straight A+ and now suddenly you've got B-, that'll make you get so worked up over it. and what got her more worked up was B- for 2 subjects. Unacceptable.

Today, she's got morning class. Truth to be told, she hasn't slept yet since yesterday because she was studying. No one knows about this. She didn't tell Lizzie or Seb at all. She doesn't want to disappoint them. When Lizzie comes to check up on her daughter, Elia pretends to be asleep and when Lizzie leaves the room, she continues on doing her studies.

She didn't like that but she has to pay back for the grades that's been dropped

Also, not to forget about her F4 practice training. These past 2 days have been hard for her. She's been on physical training for 1 day and yesterday she was on a test drive. Today, she'll have another test drive but with her teammates. Which means there's gonna be Isa, Maggie and Jamie. Maggie and Jamie were siblings. Jamie was the same age as Elia and Maggie were the same age as Isa.

Yesterday on a test drive at the circuit, there was a little accident on Elia. She has suspension failure and thank god she's not injured at all but just some bruise on her body. The adults and Isa didn't know about this obviously. Elia just informed her manager and bodyguard to not open their mouth about this at all and they reluctantly agreed.

It was breakfast time, Lizzie came to pick up her daughter. When she opened Elia's door, Elia was asleep with her head on the table and her notebook everywhere. Lizzie grew concerned because she knows Elia must've woken up early. That's what she thought. She didn't know that her daughter hadn't slept at all since yesterday.

"Eli, Eliana wake up sweetie" Lizzie wakes her up softly and doesn't want to startle her.

Elia groaned and then shifted in her chair slowly opening her eyes.

"Baby, what time did you wake up?" Lizzie asks concerned looking at Elia's dark circle under her eyes

"I don't remember. I just couldn't go back to sleep so I studied some to kill time" Elia lied. Lizzie didn't believe it for sure because she saw a stack of handwritten notes on her table.

"Go get ready. We'll have breakfast and then you can do your online class today" Lizzie said, cleaning up her daughter's desk a little bit. Elia gets up and hugs her mother making Lizzie grow more concerned about this because she knows something must've happened.

Lizzie returns the gesture and kisses the top of her head to assure her daughter that she's there for her anytime.

"We'll talk about this later" Lizzie said, sending another kiss on top of her daughter's head. She doesn't want to stress Elia out when she'll have her online class after this. Elia just nodded her head agreeing and she went to shower for the day and get ready.

On the way to the bathroom, Lizzie saw Elia limping. But she shrugged it off thinking that she just woke up so she doesn't have any balance on holding her whole body yet.

Elia took 20 minutes to get ready and now she was downstairs at the dining table with her parents. She was eating quietly making Lizzie and Seb send each other a worried glance

"So, since yesterday your mom and I didn't get to go to your practice because you insist on us going out for a date, today we'll be coming to see you practice. Sophia said you have test drive today" Seb started

Elia was freaking out on the inside because she's worried that someone there will tell them about yesterday accident but she just plays it cool

"Sure" Elia replied simply but giving them a smile so that they won't be worried but it didn't work

"Uncle Downey, Mackie, Aunt Scarly, Uncle Chris, Uncle Renner and Holland gonna be there too" Lizzie informs her

"Oh, really?" Elia asks smiling excitedly

"Yeah. they wanna watch you in action" Seb answered grinning making Elia chuckles.

That was just an act. She was really scared because of yesterday's event.

They continued their breakfast as usual, making plans for the day and laughing with each other until it was time for Elia to go to her online class. She only had one class for today for only 2 hours. It was chemistry which is 50% hard for her but she still manages to handle it.

Now, she was in her room having her online class for chemistry subject with Mrs. Nolan. They were discussing and learning about today's subtopic. Elia taking notes of what Mrs. Nolan said. It's been going on for 2 hours and now it is at the end of the class. But before Mrs. Nolan ended the class, she asks Elia something

"Elia, are you okay?" Mrs. Nolan asks, concerned. Most of her tutor was really concerned about Elia because of her softness.

And this leaves Elia confused as to why Mrs. Nolan thinks that she's not okay.
