Chapter 7: Unleash The Beast

Hell is upon us.

The chain is split in two.

The lock is there no more.

There's no hope for me and you.

Self-control is long gone.

Restraint? I barely know her.

Dignity is lost at sea.

It's done, it's game over.

She who prowls in the dark,

She who lurks beneath the shadow,

Has awakened from her slumber

Ready to feast on bones and marrow.

For the shadow knight has freed her

From the binding chains and fetters.

He used the power of the golden key

And chanted the forbidden letters.

Em i-yu...

Ou na yu...

Em fo tu...

Em wa-yu...

I summon the crimson beast.

From the depths of hell, awaken!

Wreak havoc and destroy all

As the mighty fallen Kraken!

Rise, o sinful creature.

Taint the world with black and red!

Heed not the lamb's pitiful cries.

Hearken to my words instead!

And so the starving beast growled,

Ready to pounce and devour.

Mind empty, thoughts long gone,

Nothing left but thirst and hunger.

A word of advice —

You better prepare your casket.

Bring in the silver-white flowers.

Ready the funeral basket.

Fun Fact: I was torn between two pictures.

At this point, you all probably know that I love using Wombo Dream to create pictures for each and every poem (Wattpad was such a kshflkawhfaz last week, so I could not upload a picture for Deadly Cravings). It used to be fairly easy for me to choose which picture suits the title best, but today it was especially hard for me to select the winning pic.

Question and Answer: Here is a section where you can ask anything about the poem or the work itself. I'll do my best to answer them all.

If you enjoyed this chapter, don't forget to leave a comment and hit that star-shaped button! Have an awesome day, my lovelies!
