"Okay first things first you need to clean this room." Madelyn said smiling. My room was a complete mess and it smelled like shit. Just like I did. "You know what, go shower and put some cute clothes on and I'll clean over here." She said giving me an outfit. I went to my bathroom and opened the hot water. I haven't had a shower in a lot of time, I feel disgusting and very messy. I hop into the shower as I start to feel the burning water run through my body. I suddenly feel relaxed and much more in peace than I was only a second ago.
I got out of the shower and put on my clothes. Thank god it's summer because if it wasn't I'd probably already missed a lot of classes of school. I start singing to some Taylor Swift music as I comb my hair and my mom knocks on the door. I opened it and it released my smiley mom. "That's my girl." She said giving me a kiss on the head. They made me feel proud of myself and much better about the whole situation. I'm very grateful for having this family to support me through thick and thin.
