Chapter 42- Friendly young master ~

Are we friends now?

But he was suspicious of me just a minute ago.

I frowned.

"But young master...Are you sure you should trust people so easily?"

I do want to help him but he shouldn't be bold.

He was taken aback for a second.

"Well, you treat me differently from other maids and now they started treating me better because of you.I do know you help me."

I quietly let him continue.

"You aren't dangerous to me.Come closer."

I do as he says and before I know it he grabs my hands and bangs me against the floor and my hands are tied by his hands.

I looked him in the eyes while I was lying on the floor.

He seems as handsome as the story describes him.

"Handsome..."I whispered.

He let me go and we both got up.

"Now I know for sure that you are totally harmless." Endymion said.

"Oh! I remembered something."he said and looked at me with curiosity.

"Since you weren't spying on me why were you following me and Lisa at that restaurant?At first, I pretended like nothing happened because I wasn't sure if I should trust you and just waited for the right moment to test you."

"Well, young master- It is true that I am not a spy.I rather not have the best relationship with your father ahaha...I was following you because I got curious..."

"What for? Why did you go all that way ? Was it only because of pure curiousity?"

"The maids said that you were going on a date with miss Lisa so I wanted to know."

"The maids told me.They assumed that you liked miss Lisa.They aren't wrong , aren't they?"

He gloomed.

"Well...Those are lies.I only see Lisa as my close friend and I treat my friends like family.The family I chose..."

He seems hurt now.

He doesn't want to reveal his feelings.

I smiled at him.

"Don't worry young master I will not tell anyone."

He twisted his eyebrows and almost pouted.

Now isn't that cute?

He smiled back at me.

"Alright.I will trust you on this one."

That felt so nice?

It is so great that I finally make some progress with Endymion!

I will help you until the end Endymion.

That smile is priceless.

I giggled and looked at his eyes.

"Oh so you can smile like that as well?"he said.

I laughed.

We talk like close friends now.

I am happy.

"I was also surprised.I didn't expect you to actually notice me out of all people at the restaurant.I thought I was done for."

He pretended like he didn't saw anything and I believed that.

"Well at least now I know why you became a little stalker.The next time I will notice you quickly."he said with a teasing tone.

He is so friendly now!

I love that character of his ~

He is such a nice guy.

That night we chatted about my work and he made fun of me sometimes but still...

His smiling face made me feel like I had won a prize.

That feeling warmed my heart.

The next day...

I woke up late since I had so much fun talking with young master yesterday.

I have been smiling all day.

"What is that grinning face for?!~"

"Ah!"

I jumped and the plate I was caring fell.

"Ah... Oh no! It broke!"I said panicked.

"Jeez! Are you even aware of your surroundings? You could have gotten hurt!"Alex said and picked the broken pieces.

I bowed.

"I am sorry Alex! I haven't slept well so I am spacing out a lot today!"

Her lips turned into an evil smile.

I know that evil smile.

"What do you want Alex?"I said and signed.

She brightened.

"How did you know I was going to ask for something? Wow maybe you can read minds."she said with sarcasm.
