Happy Birthday

I remember my father and mother at night
They'd save me from monsters and save me from fright

I remember my granddad who love me so much
I remember his hugs I remember his touch

I remember my first love how she was the one
I remember our breakup though we had our fun

I remember my teachers and the kindness and care
I remember the teachings and lessons I'd share

I remember my freinds who I've lost through the years
I remember my freinds who've seen all my tears

I remember my true love how I thought it was forever
I remember I hurt her when we were together

I remember the death I've caused at my hands
I remember the strength I had to still stand

I remember 20 years have already passed by
And I still stand and hold my head up high

Here's to 20 years and the fun I've had
I'll enjoy every minute of the life I have
