"Gandhamadaan parvat par 2 tapasvi hai, sahastro varsho se Mahadev ki aaradhana mei leen. Nar-Narayan naam hai unka. Yadi samarthya hai toh jao sampoorn sena leke paraast karo unhe." Paramanandi said.
"Awashya leke jaunga kintu meri prachand sena ko keval 2 tapasvi parast nahi kar sakte." Dambhod bhava said.
"Dharm ki shakti se kya sambhav nahi Sahasra-kavach ? Dharm aur tapas hi unka Shashtra hai aur astra bhi, jao swayam hetu dekhlo." Paramanandi smiled.
"Dharm-adharm ki baate mujhse na kare, mai wahi karta hu jo mujhe laabh-dayak lage." He said.
"Jis gyaan ko tum aaj thukra rahe ho, tumhare antim samaye mei yahi gyaan hetu prathna karoge. Dharm ki ek kiran hetu tarso ge." Paramanandi warned.
"Dekha jayega." Dambhod bhava smirked.
He joined his hands in front of her and then turned around to leave. Parmeshwari Paramanandi looked at him and shook her head.
She disappeared the very next moment as the devotees hailed her for saving them as Dambhod-bhava went to challenge Nar-Narayan.
On the other side someone else was also desired to obtain a boon and for it was performing severe austerities. After the death of Hiranyaksh, his brother Hiranyakashyap was perfoming penance to Brahmadev.
Since thousand years, he was standing on one leg. The gods tried to break his penance to avoid another adversity.
Indra showered rains and summoned harsh storms but Hiranyakashyap didn't budge, Vayudev tornadoes and extremely cold breeze but still no aid.
Agnidev lit the entire forest on fire to break his penance but Hiranyakashyap didn't move an inch. He kept chanting the name of Brahmadev.
Soon a light emerged from the skies and Brahmadev appeared in front of Hiranyakashyap.
"Netra kholo Hiranyakashyap." Brahmadev said.
He opens his eyes and smiles seeing Brahmadev, finally his austerities bore fruits.
"Brahmadev, aap mujhe teeno Loko mei sabse sarvashaktimaan hone ka var de. Na devta, na manushya, na koi pashu mujhe maar sake. Na divas na ratri mei, na andar na bahar, na akash mei na bhoomi par, aur na kisi shashtra na kisi astra se mujhe koi mara jaa sake. Vardaan de prabhu !" Hiranyakashyap said.
"Tathastu !" Brahmadev blessed.
