She's Awake!

~HAWK POV~

I sprinted to the hospital from the store. I didn't bother getting a ride or driving because I was to excited. Once I got there I panted out telling the woman I was here to see Athena LaRusso. She let me up with a smile and I rushed up.

I impatiently tapped me foot as the elevator went up. Could it go any slower? Once it opened, I tried my hardest not to run and break the rules.

I walked in and saw Athena sitting up talking with Miguel. She turned and smiled up at me.

"Athena your awake!" I cheered.

"Yeah," she laughed. "It's good to be awake. Though I am tired. The sleep was restless."

Miguel and I nodded.

"Have only you and Hawk visited me?" She asked.

"Um, Sensei, and Cobra Kai."

"What about my mom, dad and siblings?" She asked.

Miguel and I shared a look. Athena looked so hopeful. I hated having to crush that hope.

"Uh, I'm sorry Athena. None of them came to visit."

"Not once?"

I shook my head. She looked down but when she looked back up at us she had a hard look in her eyes.

"It's fine." She said. "I didn't expect them to visits anyway."

I shared a look with Miguel. It was sad that Athena knew they weren't going to visit her. What kind of parents do that? Who doesn't visit there child when their in the hospital?

But Athena looked like she was doing fine. She didn't look angry, just slightly upset. That was until, a few people walked through the door.
