Ryan's POV:

Olivia just went to bed.

I thought the guilt of how she went missing would go away once I heard she was still alive.

I can't get that day out of my head.

I was 13, but already smoking weed.

Mom made me bring Liv with my friends and I. I think she thought that would stop us.

But instead of watching my 5 year old sister I told her to stay on the playground while I went to the woods with friends to smoke.

It was only 20 minutes before I thought to check up on her, but she was gone when I went back.

I called my Mom panicked.

The cops were called and search parties looking for her.

Nothing was the same after that.

Mom was never the same.

I couldn't blame her.

She made it clear it was my fault.

She started drinking.

She got so depressed she killed herself.

I found her.

I just wish she was here so she could see Liv again.

The next morning I woke up to see Liv doing the dishes.

"You don't have to do that Liv."

She jumped from being startled and turned around.

She looked exhausted.

"Sorry.."

"No, it's ok. I just don't want you doing things like chores while hurt."

"Oh ok.."

She speaks so quietly.

Like she's afraid to talk.

"How long have you been awake?"

"I-I didn't sleep.."

"What? Why?"

"Chores weren't done."

I looked around and this place was spotless.

"Shit Bunny, the place looks great, but I don't want you to be cleaning. Ok?"

She nodded, but looked really scared.

"Are you ok?"

She nodded.

The guys came running in.

"Dude I'm starved, can we go to that Diner we saw on the way in?"

"Yeah, just give me a bit to get ready."

"Alright."

He went over to the TV and it turned onto the news.

I saw a picture of Liv when she was 5.

He changed the channel.

"Turn it back." I said.

"Ok?"

It was a news report about Olivia.

They know she's been found.

Fuck.

Liv was watching from behind me too.

She gasped.

I turned around to see her terrified.

"They'll come for me..." She whispered.

"Hey, I won't let them take you again." I told her.

"They'll kill you."

"We need to stop at the station before we get food. Liv it's gonna be ok. I promise. We'll figure it out."

I figured Liv wouldn't want to be alone with the guys in the car so I brought her in with me.

I held her hand and walked really fast.

I was raging at this point.

"I need to speak with Barrett." I said to Jenny.

"Ok, he's busy right now can I take a message."

I saw him in his office.

I pulled Liv along with me and barged into his office.

"Who in the hell told the news about Liv being back?!?" I snapped.

She flinched.

I shouldn't have brought her in.

"I'm trying to figure that out, but I need you to calm down."

"How am I supposed to calm down? Hasn't our family been through enough?"

"I don't know who leaked it, but the community could be a support."

"What if they come back for her? They know where she went now."

"we won't let that happen. We'll post a squad car outside of your house 24/7."

"I want whoever leaked this to have consequences."

I stormed out of his office.

I hopped back into the car.

"Ok, let's go get some food."
