Feasting in the great hall, Valtar and Ragnar spoke about the queen. Still uncertain of whether she had to do with the attack, Valtar wanted to find and talk to her, but Ragnar and Aslaug, as well as Floki who joined them, the dagger Rùna had brought in hand, refused. Why else would the queen run away, but to hide from an attack. They argued and the king grew angry, throwing his drinking horn on the ground. He could not believe his wife would betray him.
