~Delilah's POV~
A few weeks later...
Carson has been really distant lately when he leaves he says he would come back a certain time but actually comes back late. What if he is seeing some other girl behind my back... I mean we aren't even dating.. but still! Am I not good enough for him? I was on my phone in the living room I heard the door open "Hey Lila" it was Carson
"Hey" I smiled softly
"What are you doing?"
"Watching Tik Tok" he came closer to me and lay his head on my lap. I started playing with his hair. We were laughing, talking and watching Tik Tok's together. A couple hours later his phone rang I didn't get to see who called him though
"Hello?" he said "Yeah i'm on my way" he hung up "Sorry Lila I gotta go but when I come back we can watch a movie" I nodded he kissed lips then my forehead then left. I wonder what he 's up to..
~Carson's POV~
Today I'm gonna ask Delilah to be my girlfriend. Ever since I met her I knew she was the one. She was the only one that made me happy ever since my parents died. I'm very nervous because I always fuck up my words n shit.
"Okay did you write what you are gonna say?" Sam asked me
"Yeah" I started reading it
"Carson, it's great! Who knew you could be soft" I rolled my eyes. Then I went over to Valeria who was putting the roses on the sand and said Will you be my girlfriend? by the way we are at the beach because when we started to get to know each other more she had told my she loved going to the beach
"Are you ready for today?" Valeria asked
"Yeah i'm pretty nervous though" I answered honestly
"It's okay Carson you got this we are here for you" she hugged me I was kinda shocked because I never really hugged her before but I hugged back. We went over to Sam
"Carson! You should be at Johnny's right now!" Sam yelled at me
"Okay okay I'm going" I left and drove to Johnny's house
~Delilah's POV~
It's been a couple of hours and Carson still hasn't come home. My phone started ringing and it was Sam "Hey!" she said
"Hii"
"What are you doing?"
"Nothing just watching a movie without Carson again" I rolled my eyes
"Aww babes it's okay.. me and Valeria finna come over"
"Okay"
"We'll be there in a couple minutes"
"Okay see you" I hung up. A couple minutes later the door rang
"Heyyy" I saw Sam and Valeria dressed up with their hair done and makeup. Sam had a dress and shoes in her hands and Valeria had makeups in her hands
"Hii, what's this?" I asked
"We are gonna go out somewhere special" Valeria said Sam nodded
"Okayyy" I smiled as we went upstairs to my room. Valeria did my hair and Sam did my makeup then when they finished I put on the dress and shoes they brought for me "Where are we going?" I asked
"Somewhere special" Sam replied. I kinda got annoyed because every time I asked where we were gonna go they would always say Somewhere special
"Let's go, '' Sam yelled. We went to in Sam's car and drove to wherever we were going
"Okay Delilah i'm gonna have to blindfold you" Valeria said
"Wh-"
"No questions" Sam said they blindfolded me and started guiding me everywhere we started walking down some stairs then I felt sand they told me to take off my shoes so I did then we stopped walking
"Okay Delilah you can take off the blindfold" Sam said when I did I looked around and we were at the beach then I saw Sam, Valeria, Johnny and Carson so I started walking up to him
"Hey Delilah" he said softly
"Hi Carson" I smiled he was about to speak but then froze and looked at me nervously Johnny elbowed him roughly
"Ow Bitch" he said we all laughed "Okay" he coughed "Delilah, the first time I saw you it wasn't love at first sight, my love for you formed gradually, your personality, your voice , your hair, your eyes, you humor, they way you look away and smile, gradually it all came clear to me you were the one I was looking for. When I tell you I love you. I won't say it out of habit. I will say it to remind you that you're the best thing that ever happened to me. You make me want to say I love you over and over again so Delilah,.. Will you be my girlfriend?" he said with tears in his eyes. I was crying of joy his words made my heart melt I was so happy at the moment that I forgot to say yes
"YES!!" I jumped on him and he caught me and kissed me. I heard Sam, Valeria and Johnny cheering
"I love you Delilah" Carson said
"I love you too" we kissed. We all started talking and drinking.. not alcohol though cause me and Carson don't drink. A while later Sam, Valeria, and Johnny were getting ready to leave. They congratulated us and we said our goodbyes. It was just me and Carson sitting on the sand watching the sunset.
"I'm so happy you're my girlfriend Lila" Carson smiled
"I'm so happy you're my boyfriend" we kissed "Wait a minute so this is the reason why you were being so distant?"
"Yes" he laughed I sigh in relief "What??" he asked
"Nothing, I thought you were talking to some girl behind my back... I thought I wasn't good enough.." I said quietly
"Delilah you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I would never ever talk to some girl behind your back, you Delilah are the only girl I want. You will by my first and last girl I'll ever have" I smiled with tears in my eyes "I love you mama" he said, that nickname gave me butterflies
"I love you too" I kissed him
