~Delilah's POV~
"Hey!" Valeria said
"Hi!" We both went into the locker room to change. Valeria and I were walking down the hall when the intercom came on and said to report to the lunch room that there was an announcement. I was walking out of breath
"Are you tired from the gym?" Valeria asked
"Yes" we both started laughing "Wait where's Carson"
"I don't why" she asked
"Who's gonna sit next to him in the lunchroom"
"Probably no one, now come on" she grabbed my hand and went to the lunch room. "Hey Delilah" I heard Sam say
"Hey" I replied looking around
"What you doing" she asked
"She's looking for Carson" Valeria told her
"Oooo" Sam said
"What"
"You like him?" she said smirking
"What?!" I yelled
"That was literally perfect timing," Sam laughed. Valeria was looking behind me then I turned around and saw Carson standing behind me. I was so embarrassed my face got so red because Sam asked me if I liked him. I put my face on the table. I heard Sam and Valeria laugh. "You can sit with us, Carson" Sam said. Carson sat next to me because Mads and Valeria were sitting in front of me.
"Can you look up now?" Valeria asked
"No I'm good"
"What's wrong" Sam asked
"Nothing"
"Wait, why do you have his jacket on?" Valeria asked
"Wha-uh-um.." I stuttered
"Long story!" Carson said
"He speaks" Valeria yelled
"Oh my god , yes I talk" he said annoyed I put my head up
"Delilah your mascara is messed" Sam said Valeria agreed. I rubbed my eyes
"It's still there" Valeria said
~Carson's POV~
I looked at Delilah "Omg where?" she laughed
"Are you laughing at yourself?"
"What if I am" she fired back
"You're such a dork" I put my hands on her cheeks and turned her head facing me. Her makeup isn't even messed up. I heard clicking noises. I looked at Sam and Valeria. They had their phones out. I put my hands down and looked away.
"Wh-" Delilah said
"You're makeup isn't even messed up" she looked at Sam and Valeria
"Opps?" Sam said smiling Valeria laughed
"Why did you take a picture?" she asked
"Because y'all looked cu-" Valeria started
"blah blah blah blah" Delilah interrupted her
"What" Sam laughed
"She did that because she blushes easily" Valeria explained
"Oh my god! y'all are annoying" Delilah said and I laughed. Then I saw Johnny coming over and he sat next to Delilah
"Who's annoying" he asked
"Omg! your hair" Delilah said and they all laughed but me and Johnny "Who put it up like that"
"Me? But I don't know how to do it" Johnny said quietly. Delilah got up, took the hair tie out of his hair and did it again "Better?" Johnny asked
"Eh" Valeria Replied. Delilah sat back down and looked at me "What?" I asked
"Nothing"
"Then why are you staring at me?" I
"I was just looking at you," she said quietly. I looked at her with the face I always make when I get annoyed but then my face changes "What" she said. I was looking into her eyes .
"Bro? If you're gonna kiss her then do it" Johnny said while laughing. I got up and walked away
~Delilah's POV~
"Why would you say that?" I asked him
"It was funny" Johnny chuckled
"Maybe to you" I said with an attitude
"What's wrong Delilah" he asked
"Why are you even over here?"
"Why did you get so mad? Do you like him or something?"
"Why does that matter?"
"Because you are cute," he said out loud. I looked at Sam
"Wha- what Delilah" Sam said trying not to cry
"Sam.." I said quietly
"Um be right back I'm gonna go to the bathroom" she said smiling with tears in her eyes. Sam ran out of the lunch room and went to the bathroom. Valeria ran after her. "What happened" Johnny asked
"Johnny don't you see! Sam likes you!"
"What??"
"She likes you! And I can't believe you don't even like her. She's an amazing girl. She is so nice and very gorgeous, but you have been flirting with me all day. Why? I'm no one. I get embarrassed over anything, I'm a stupid fuckin dork! I'm also fat and ugly!" I yelled
~Carson's POV~
I walked back into the lunch room and I heard Delilah say nasty things about her to Johnny "You think that of yourself?" I said. She looked and me then looked down
"Did you hear all of that?"she asked me quietly
"Yeah" she got up and walked away then I grabbed her hand "What?"
"Why do you think that about yourself?"
"I'm ugly" she walked away.
"You're not gonna say anything?" I asked Johnny
"Sam likes me?"
"You're stupid. She has been in love with you for the longest" I told him then walked out.
