Edser In Love

Road to graduation pt. 1

Hellllooo people.
So a lot of you requested me personally and on comments to write a story based on how Serkan helps Eda in graduating. So this one is that.
And I hope I live upto your expectations.

Plot: Eda and Serkan are dating. They are happy and content and in love in their relationship. Imagine the 12-13 episode Edser. Eda is working on her graduation project and Serkan as usual in his office. Selin stills work at Artlife but doesn't have shares. Serkan bought the shares back from Efe but didn't give them to Selin, rather kept to himself.

Serkan was working in his office, when he heard a knock on the door. He looked up to find Melo standing at the door with a smiling face. Damn, this girls' smile was contagious and every time she was in the room, the air felt lighter and brighter. He nodded and asked her to come in.

"Come Melo. Have a seat." He smiled.
"Eniste." Melo gave a bright smile and pulled the chair out sitting down next to Serkan.
"How are you Melo? How's Eda?" He asked.

He hadn't seen Eda in three days. He missed his girlfriend terribly. She wasn't coming to office from past one month because she had joined back university and she was currently working on her final project submission due in another 15-20 days which meant she was neck deep in the project and even though they lived 40 minutes apart in the same city, they were hardly seeing each other physically because she was too much stressed about her project. And she was working on it all the time. Their relationship was not suffering though because Serkan knew the importance of final project being an architect himself and he also was currently supporting her the maximum because she was finally going to graduate in a month and Serkan would no more feel guilty about disrupting her studies. So he was being the most supportive boyfriend, giving her time and space to study and not crowd her with relationship expectations.

Eda did realise his efforts and she made sure to meet him even if it was for a short time, every 2nd or 3rd day and to not make him feel ignored. She would video call him whenever she got time and last night they had talked for an hour on video call. She had told him she missed him a 100 times in that one hour and promised him that she would meet him over the weekend and spend the whole day with him. Serkan was happy and content with that.

He wad brought back to reality when Melo spoke,
"Eniste. I am good. How are you?"
"Well apart from missing your dada, I am perfectly fine. So what brought you here Melo? Does Engin need me to sign any documents?" He said smiling.

"No no eniste. I have done my work for the day and I was about to leave. But I wanted to talk to you."
"Okay what is it?"
"Umm eniste, Ayfer hala is going out for a flower decoration order at a wedding. She will be back in a day or two. And I thought to go out with Ceren and Fifi. So if you want, you can spend the night with Eda today at our house." She grinned.

Serkan was surprised to hear this. He sure wanted to spend time with Eda but there was definitely something wrong.

"Melo, I am not sure. I mean I want to spend time with Eda. I would love that. But Ayfer hanim won't agree ever. I can talk to her. But I am not hopeful about her agreeing." He said sadly very sure that Ayfer hanim still hated him or atleast if it was not hate, it wasn't love either. She wouldn't let Serkan even enter Eda's bedroom, let alone stay the night.

Melo immediately replied, "Ayfer hanim agreed. I talked to her already eniste."
"Ne?" Serkan was yet again surprised.
He looked at Melo suspiciously and then after a minute spoke,
"Melo, there's something you are not telling me? I can't believe why she would agree to this. She literally hates me. I mean we still are not on the same page."
