"Say what you gotta say, Preston," Ophelia looked up at her friend's confused face.
"Ophelia, after Chris told me I was so upset and heartbroken for you it tore me apart...so when I was around Viv after going home and she kept asking why I was down all the time.... and your story weighed on me for weeks....a story we did never talk much about after that night I might add."
Ophelia grabbed a doughnut and took a large bite as she listened. Charli ran her thin hands nervously through her long straight locks.
"I was depressed and needed to talk about it so I told Viv....I know I fucked up but I never thought she would turn and do that." She moved to face her friend and the tears started falling as she explained herself. "Ophelia, I'm so sorry."
Ophelia watched her friend crumble and nodded as she finished, "I forgive you but I will never forgive your sister." She spoke plainly as Charli nodded, "yeah, you and plenty of others. She ran off to Mexico with some guy she met after she sold it. I'm sorry."
Ophelia's jaw dropped before she wrapped her friend in a hug.
"I missed you Char, too much for words to explain." Charli kissed Ophelia's cheek, "I am so going to spend the rest of my life being the most perfect friend ever."
Ophelia let out a cackle, "bitch you better!" The two laughed and spent the evening rekindling their friendship after over a month apart.
"Oh fuck, I almost forgot to tell you," Charli spit out after they finished watching Captain America: the first Avenger.
"Theo is in town and he was hoping to see you," she smiled over at her friend. "Your brother is too much. I have never met someone so uptight that tries so hard to have fun with chaotic assholes like us!" They laugh together as they lean back into the couch, "tell him to come over and hang out."
