Tasha managed to get a quick look at Jay and Rachel on her way to the bathroom, but they just weren't close enough for her to see their dresses properly. She didn't even know for sure if what she suspected was true, but she was hoping she'd soon know one way or another.

As she waited for Nadia, she tried to reapply her lipstick, but her hand wouldn't stop shaking, not only that, her heart was racing, and she felt sick with nerves too. She was trying to plan her words, what was she going to say to this girl, if in fact it was her.

'You ready?' Asked Nadia.

'Yeah' said Tasha, picking up her silver clutch.

Nadia was definitely feeling suspicious of Tasha, her insistence on meeting Rachel and Jay made her feel uneasy. Had she not known about Jack and Jay's tryst she might have put it down to Tasha being lonely. Heaven knows she'd barely been acknowledged by the other wags since she got there, but Nadia's gut instinct was telling her something wasn't right.

It was almost a relief to Nadia when they walked in that it was only Rachel and Chris at the table, deep in conversation. Jay was nowhere to be seen.

'Sorry to interrupt guys, but this is Tasha, Jack's partner, she wanted to meet you' said Nadia, hoping the horrified look on Rachel's face would go unnoticed.

Thankfully Tasha's attentions were on her dress instead. That definitely wasn't a Chanel dress, so she was off the list of suspects, that left one- Jay.

'Pleased to meet you' said Chris. 'Jack's a fantastic guy. I coach the team that my son Charlie, and Jay's nephew Olly, play for and Jack coming along to their cup final was incredible for them'

Olly? thought Tasha, the same Olly from Jacks Instagram story? Tasha knew she wasn't necessarily the brightest star in the galaxy, but it was becoming crystal clear to her who 'SHE' was.

'Ladies and Gentleman, if I could ask you to have a seat, the club vice chairman has a few words to say' announced the compère.

Nadia and Tasha made their way back to their seats.

The vice chairman droned on for a bit about the club for the last year, and how they were more than just a club, they were a family. Pretty much the same speech as he'd made the year before.

Jack, of course, wasn't listening to the words. He was too busy trying to look for Jay, without actually looking like he was looking for Jay. All the while more aware than ever of Tasha's eyes on him. She couldn't know, could she?

'Finally, I have an award here to give out for EPL player of the month, and that goes to Theo' everyone began to clap as Theo made his way to the stage.

'I would like to say thank you to the club, to the league and to Jay, my English teacher for helping me so much' said Theo, pointing to her, where she was stood at the back of the room, next to Ferran.

Both Jack and Tasha's heads span round to look at her. Jack couldn't help himself from smiling when he saw how stunningly beautiful she looked, but when he turned round again, he knew Tasha had busted him.

'You alright?' She asked pointedly.

'Yeah, you?' He replied.

'Never better me' she said with a look in her eye that he couldn't quite understand.

******

'Have you thought about my offer yet?' Ferran asked Jay.

'Honestly, I haven't really thought about anything else' It was a slight exaggeration, she'd mainly been thinking about Jack, but she had given some consideration to his offer.
