"What a git. He could just throw himself in the lake and I wouldn't care." Harry vented harshly within the cold night of November. "Calling me a liar for having my name on that fucking Goblet."

"If you just talk to him, Harry, maybe —"

"I will not!" Harry snapped, irritably glaring at the girl beside him. "I'm not going to run around just for him to grow up."

(Y/N) sighed miserably and stared at the night sky instead. It was full of stars yet it didn't seem to amuse her in any point due to this constant heavy weight inside her chest after the Goblet of Fire "incident".

After Harry's name came out from the Goblet of Fire, he had been the talk of the castle again for acquiring the chance to compete for Hogwarts even though he wasn't allowed in the first place. Many people had called him a cheater for that. Malfoy had even made a badge saying 'Potter Stinks' and had flaunted it around the castle. And Ron wasn't talking to Harry because, apparently, he was jealous of his best friend. Only (Y/N) and Hermione had believed in Harry that he hadn't put his name in.

Yet, it wasn't that easy for (Y/N) because her brother, Cedric, was competing as well and, obviously, against Harry. She was expected to support Cedric, but with the given circumstances, there might be a little bit of change. And this change had caused some uproar from the Cedric's supporters. As they said — as what quoted as "traitor" — to (Y/N) every time she walked past them with Harry.

What was wrong with that?, (Y/N) wondered. She was supporting her brother as well — and Cedric perfectly knew that. What was their problem?

"(Y/N)?" Harry called.

"Hm?" hummed (Y/N), now meeting Harry's stares.

"Do you really believe me? Or just forcing yourself to because I'm your best friend?"

The Diggory girl blinked at his face, her eyebrows furrowing.

"Where did that came from?" she asked.

Harry looked away.

"I don't know."

"Harry..." said (Y/N), sighing. "I do believe you, alright? Not just because you're my best friend but because I trust you."

Harry's eyes slowly went back to her to see that she was smiling warmly. He let out another heavy sigh and tugged her arms towards him, hugging her tightly.

"Thank you so much, (Y/N)."

He slightly lifted his head and placed it on (Y/N)'s neck, snuggling her in the process while embracing her tightly. The girl was so used to this that she let him do that and hugged him back in the same pressure as he did, leaning her cheek on Harry's fluffy hair, sniffing his manly shampoo.
