"There's too many of them!" The Avengers in Wakanda are struggling to keep their footing against the swarm of aliens, the children of Thanos.

A giant beam of lighting strikes the ground as the Avengers fight off Aliens, four armed beasts running beasts and tall magic beings with intense stares and the will to never stop until their foe are dead, until Thanos achieves his mission.

The beam of electric light pounding the earth in a Boom as the newly forged Stormbreaker appears, flying towards their monstrous foes with ease, the weapon surrounded by bluish lightning. Every alien in its path falling to the ground as quickly as the axe appeared.

Stormbreaker flies back towards the blinding light and there appears Thor with Rocket on his shoulder and Groot standing beside him. Nyx steps out from behind Thor carrying a devilish grin, rubbing her hands together devilishly, as stormbreaker meets Thor's palm again. Everyone stares at the group with smiles as they finally have a moment to breathe from the piles of Thanos' men Stormbreaker took out.

"Haha you guys are so screwed now!" Banner yells from his robotic suit.

"Nyx, ugly aliens are bad." Thor speaks over his shoulder as Rocket jumps off. She chuckles, running her hand over the purple talisman hanging around her neck, as she nods up at him.

"Aliens bad," she turns away from Thor and towards the hoards of Aliens running towards them and the city, the city Thor reminded her they were supposed to protect.

"Bring me Thanos!" Thor runs before he throws his axe again. Groot and Rocket start running beside him towards the fight, Groot yelling, "I am Groot."

Nyx smirks at the beings surrounding her, "sleep," she says just loud enough for some to hear, as a large pulse is sent from her hands, sending dozens of foreign bodies to the ground into a deep sleep.

Thor jumps into the sky as Stormbreaker meets his hand again and hits the ground with all his might, sending a pulse of lightning through the space around him.

The fight continues as Nyx joins near the end of the field sending small groups of aliens to the ground. She tried to stay inneye daughter of Thor, following him to fight nearby.

"Darkness," she sends a small cloud of dark mist from her large purple talisman towards four tall abominations with too many arms the mist flows into their chests and they stop moving. The creatures look around confused as she blinds them with visions.

Groot stands next to her with a nod and sends his two stretched arms through a group of six of the bodies ahead of them, "I am Groot!" Nyx smiles over at Groot and nods furiously, "me too tree," as she turned to send more into a mind numbing sleep.

Thor fights off a couple attackers with a few swings of his new axe as Steve Rogers looks at him.

"New Haircut?" Steve asks as he shoves another body to the ground.
Thor nods and says, "I noticed you've copied my beard," he motions to his face, and the two nod.
Groot sends his arm through three of the monsters running towards him.

"By the way, this is a friend of mine, Tree."
"I am Groot," he looks towards Cap.
"I am Steve Rogers," he motions to himself.
"Oh and that over there," he motions towards Nyx. Steve looks over to see the small brunette with her hands in front of her sending dozens of bodies to the ground.
"That's Nyx, Goddess of Darkness." Steve stared as she looked towards Thor with black orbs where her eyes once were. She raised her hands towards them as five large four armed beasts fall to the ground behind them.

"How does she do that?" Steve looked at Thor who only shrugged.
"No idea, but we didnt have time to ask," he swing his axe once more taking out another.

Thanos places the mind stone into his gauntlet after taking it from Vision. Suddenly, Thor's axe, stormbreaker, plunges into Thanos' chest.

He steps closer to the large purple man, taking a breath as he looks into Thanos' eyes, "I told you, you'd die for that."

Nyx appears behind him and watches Thor with a smile feathered on her lips.
He presses the axe into his chest, making a squelch sound. Thanos releases a large pained yell, "you shoulda...you sh...you should have gone for the head."
He snaps his fingers as Thor screams, "No!"

Thanos disappears through a portal and stormbreaker falls to the ground. Thor stares down at it, shocked as he catches his breath and looks at Nyx. Steve appears from the trees, holding his side.
"Where'd he go?" He looks around, "Thor?"

Thor looks at him, regret and pain in his eyes. Steve asks again louder, "Where'd he go?"

Nyx steps towards Steve, "he snapped and poof." She motioned as Thor looks down at her with a frown and back at Steve.

"Steve?" Bucky is heard from the side as they all look to watch him turn to ash before their eyes, his gun hitting the ground in a clank. He disappears as Steve walks towards where his best friend was just standing.
The realization fills Thor's face as he looks over at Nyx, the hand she was placing into his starts to crumble in the similar dust they just witness.

"Sorry, Thor," was all she spoke as her body vanished into nothingness.

Thor and Steve hold dust of what used to be their friends and look at eachother in terror.
