I want to talk a little bit about what Amiya looks like. Amiya is a black Albino character. She will look more like the picture on the bottom left of her mood board, but I wanted to include the picture on the top right because I wanted to show that albinism can have many different looks.
For those that don't know, Albinism is a condition that leads to someone having very light skin, hair, and eyes, this occurs from lack of melanin in the body. Albino people are still as healthy as any other person.
I chose to make Amiya albino because as someone who is a black female with Albinism myself, I haven't seen or read about many characters with that condition and feel that there needed to be more representation.
